I Have No Choice

Ryan's Pov 

"Please stop Max! Please! I'm sorry." I shouted at him but it was like talking to a brick wall. The punches and kicks kept coming. 

"I," 

Kick, 

"Told," 

Kick, 

"You," 

Punch,

"To," 

Punch,

"Pretend," 

Slap,

"Like,"

Slap,

"It," 

Punch, kick, slap,

"Never happened!" He yelled at me. 

I knew he would be upset. I told Jace that this would happen. I told him. 

He looked down at me with hatred filled eyes. "What if he tells the police? Then I'll go to jail." 

"I won't let him tell the police." I said quietly. My body was aching all over. God, I'm stupid. It's all my fault. Again. I shouldn't have went to see Jace. If I hadn't, this wouldn't have happened. 

"Ryan...." Max said softly. I looked up at him. His eyes were filled with sadness. He looked at my face. Bruises were starting to appear. "I'm so sorry." He whispered. "I'm a monster. How could I do this to you?" 

I walked towards him and placed both my hands on either sides of his face. I rubbed his cheeks softly. I'm not mad at him for doing this to me. I deserved it. "It's okay Max. It's my fault." He looked at me with tears in his eyes. "I'm so sorry. Come here let me make it up to you." He said quietly with a smirk. 

I decided to play along. "Mhm and how can you do that?" 

"Take you pants off and I'll show you." He said, lust taking over his beautiful features. 

I took my pants and walked towards him, making sure to shake my hips a little as I walked. "Show me then." I whispered in his ear once I reached him. He started to kiss all over my neck but I stopped him. 

"Enough with the foreplay. Just fuck me already."

"How was that?" Max asked me after we had finished. 

Truthfully it was okay but I couldn't tell him that.

"Best I ever had." I replied with mock enthusiasm. He rolled over to face me. He looked genuinely happy. A small smile was playing on his lips. "I love you Ryan Carter." He whispered in my ear. I don't  love him. I love Jace. I can't lie to this man. I refuse to lie to him. 

"Hey, can I use your shower?" I asked quickly. He nodded, looking confused. I hurried up and ran to the bathroom, turning the shower on immediatley. As soon as I the water touched me I moaned from the contact. 

I wonder what Jace is doing right now. Probably sitting around biting his lips from worry. He's waiting for me to call. 

Mhm Jace biting his lips. That's sexy.

"Do you love me Ryan?" Max asked me a couple hours later. He looked at me impatiently, waiting for my answer. 

"N-no." I stuttered looking down at my hands. I couldn't lie to him. I hated lying to him. He sighed and forced my head up to look at him.

"I really wish you hadn't said that." He said quietly. 

"Why?" I asked him. 

"You love Jace don't you?" He asked me. 

"Yes." I deadpanned. 

"I forbid you from seeing him." He said angrily.

I looked at him, enraged. "You can't tell me who I can and can't see!" I shouted at him. 

He chuckled, "Yes I can. I'm your boyfriend remember?" 

"I don't want you to be my boyfriend anymore." I said. 

"Oh Ryan. You don't have a  choice. I love you and that means that you'll be mine until I'm finished with you." He said laughing. 

"What if I tell the police?" I threatened. 

"Then I'll kill Jace. Simple as that. I know you don't want the love of your life dead." He said, dangerously. 

I couldn't come up with an answer. I didn't want Jace dead. I love him. I love everything about him. I just realized it too late. 

I had no choice; I had to stay with Max in order to keep Jace safe. 

I hate this plan but I love him too much to let him be hurt because of me. 

I guess I'll just have to endure Max's crazy ass.
