Dinah p.o.v

A groan left my mouth as we stopped at another red light. Y/n sighs beside me tapping her fingers against the steering wheel.

"Why can't you just run it," I asked "because I don't want to get a ticket"

Y/n and I went to sleep really late last night, knowing that we had to get up early to do something for her mom.

It's like 5 pm and I'm starting to think that Y/n forgot about our date. I didn't want to bring it up because I didn't want to annoy her.

"Where are we going?" I asked her she glanced at me "home"

I frown "oh"

Maybe she never did want to go on a date with me.

But she did seem really happy last night about it.

After like 10 minutes of driving in silence Y/n finally spoke.

"Here open this and tell me what you think" she handed me an envelope, I open it and gasp.

I took the two ticket out and let out a squeal.

"You got me front row tickets to a BEYONCÉ CONCERT" she chuckles "that's all the money I'm spending on you too, I was supposed to be on a budget"

"I could kiss you right now!"  I say as the car stopped in front of the stadium where they held concerts.

"Wait for Y/n I'm not dressed to be at a concert"

"Way ahead of you" she points to the back showing me my suitcase. "I am not changing the back seat"

"You don't have too, there's a bathroom in there" she gets out the car. Walking over to my side and letting me out.

"How much were these tickets"

"Just know it cost more than my rent" I chuckled "don't worry I'll take you out to dinner tonight"

I wrapped my arms around her and kiss her cheek. "Yeah bc I was just going to buy McDonald's because I am broke"

I chuckled "you didn't have to do this I would've bee happy going to a little diner"

"I like to go all out on dates so get dressed"

"You are too cute" she glares at me "I am not cute...I'm hot" I open the door and unzipped my suitcase.

"Sureee"

"What are you trying to say" I bite my lip looking back at her "nothing?"......
