Chapter 13

That day I decided to finally confess my feelings to sonia.

I texted her to meet me in our regular hangout spot that was fire exit in our school premises.

That was the most secluded place. Nobody ever shown up there.
I knew I was safe there.

I decorated whole staircase with red roses and heart shape balloons. I was ready to admit every thing to her.

The boys helped me with everything.

At sharp 7:00 she arrived.
She was very punctual.

She opened the door of fire exit and entered inside. As plan the door was locked by the boys from outside so that she couldn't escape without listing to what I wanted to say.

I switched on the lights and she looked at the entire decoration.

Her eyebrows furred and a frown made its way on her face that I definitely wouldn't like.

Still I gathered some courage and moved towards her with a big greeting card and a bouquet of roses in my hand.

" what is this surya?" She asked in a cold voice. I didn't like that voice not even a bit percent.

I took a deep breath and started what I prepared whole night.

"Sonia I love you." I confessed and her eyes turned as big as saucer.

"Surya you-

" No sonia listen to me first then you can say whatever you want.  I am in love with you. I fell in love with you the day I saw you very first time behind the school gate in our school uniform.  You were looking like an angel. We were in third grade but still you made my heart skip a beat when you first look in to my eyes in our school corridor.  Every time when you smile my heart starts to beat like manic. The day I saw you under that tree in that rainy night I lost everything I had. I lost my heart.  That day I realised something. I realised that I am love with you. I am nothing without you sonia. I just love you a lot."I confessed.

I was just so overwhelmed that I couldn't even admit anything to her the way I planned.

I just wanted her to hug me. I was an emotional wreck at that time.

Her reaction made my heart do flip.

She was crying.……

Why????
" sonia please don't cry tell me what happen. I can't see you crying like this?"I said taking a step forward to wipe Her tears but she took two steps back.

"Sonia listen" I begged.
She shook her head and motioned me to stop with her hands.

"Don't " she said in a firm voice.

"Sonia at least listen-

" I said don't." She again took steps back.

"Sonia I love you at least listen to me . I am in love with you sonia. Please try to understand my feelings.  I can't live without you. "
I begged.

" then die. " her voice sounded cold and hard.
She was still crying, her eyes were showing hurt.

I looked up and for a mere second her face softened.
I took it as an opportunity and held her small hands in mine and put that greeting card and bouquet in hands.

"Surya leave my hand. " she said wiggling her hands to get it free.

"Listen to me sonia. I do love you a alot I promise I will love you till my last breath just trust me one time."I said with all I had in my heart.

Words left my mind as an overwhelming feeling took place in my chest.

I was not even able to convince her. She was continuously wiggling to get her out of my hold.

I got tired with her reluctance and pinned her to nearby wall.

I gave one last look to her face and smashed my lips with hers.

I had been waiting to do that for I didn't know how long.
I kissed with all my heart, with the entire passion I had for her.

I bit her lips, sucked them.

The kiss was full of passion, love, anger I had with in me . After some time I pulled apart due to loss of oxygen. And looked straight into her eyes.

" I love you and I will do anything to make you mine." I said with  utmost honesty and left her hands.

Next moment I felt my left cheek stinging
She slapped me. My sonia slapped me.

I was in utter shock.

"I HATE YOU! !!" She shouted

The boys came inside and she ran away.

"Run sonia run. Run as much as you want.
But I will get you . You can run, you can hide but you can never escape my love." I promised myself and made my way outside. Leaving behind my shouting friends.

I wasn't in the condition to attend school. I needed to prepare my self.
