Family Code

I wandered back up the stairs into my bedroom. I sat on my bed and searched up The Originals on my laptop. While my laptop was loading the web page I had just searched up I ran down the stairs and grabbed the snacks which were supposed to be for my movie night. Well I'm not going to let the snacks go to waste. From this day forward Thursdays are now going to be my 'relax with snacks day.' I went back up the stairs with all the food and drinks. I connected my laptop to the TV and watched The Originals. Two hours later I took all my rubbish down in a carrier bag and put all my food back in the draw. I wish my mum was here to help me. I don't quite know why but are family code is that if one person has a problem in the family then its everyone's problem and that we all have to try our best to help them. Many people will say it's weird but personally I find it very helpful. I can't wait for my mum to get home. She's coming home around six in the afternoon tomorrow. She's has been travelling recently for work and then she decided to go on holiday in New York for two weeks to enjoy the views. I wish I had gone with her but I couldn't just leave school for two weeks. Everyone would think I'm skipping classes. My plan for tomorrow is when I get home I'm going to make her a Welcome home cake for her and get some of her favourite treats to nibble on in case she is hungry and doesn't want to eat cake. She's probably going to be really jet lagged though so it would probably be best if I tell her my problem after she's got used to being back home for about a week. I don't really want her to panic or anything. However much I don't want her to get involved she will probably find out sooner or later and she will be so devastated to see I've broken the family code. I've only seen my mum so upset about this once and I felt so bad. I had promised her I would never break the code again and I refuse to let her down. Surely she will understand if I leave it a week for her sake. She has to right?

So I'm sorry my chapter is a little late because when I went to put my newest chapters as a draft on Wattpad it was supposedly updating. It was kind of frustrating as that was the only time I could edit but hey its here now. I got the family code idea fro a story I have been reading and because I liked the idea I'm used it.
