Everything Has Changed

*One Week Later*

It was Monday. The start of a new week which mean school. Great, how fun. I walked into the gates when I noticed Donnie looking around for someone. I walked up to him and asked him if everything was alright. He said he was fine and I asked him who was he looking for. That person he was looking for was me. He asked me to follow him and he lead me to the same place as when I kissed him. Why did he bring me here? "Eva, I know I'm probably making this really awkward but I want to know if you... if you would be.. be my girlfriend," Donnie said with his hands shaking like mad and his feet looking like jelly. "Donnie, I don't know what to say,"i began. He looked at me with his adorable puppy eyes and sat down on the wooden square behind him. He took a deep breath and then looked at me hoping what I said was a yes. "I don't really know what to do with myself at the moment with everything going on I would rather just be really close friends. I don't want to loose another person I care about over a silly mistake ever again. Sorry Donnie," I finished. I glanced down worried about his reaction to my words. I got the courage to look up but when I did I felt guilt fill my body. His cute puppy dog eyes were no longer cute. They were eyes which represented a broken heart. A broken heart of which I have caused without even meaning to. Ive caused my best friend pain by saying no. How could I do that?! Its to late now to even try to fix this. I cant help it if I don't like him in that way. Or do I? Maybe I do but I'm just to scared to love! Its no use I don't even know how I feel anymore. I'm not the same Eva I used to be. I'm different. Ive changed myself because of other people and all because i wanted revenge on those same people. I dont even kno who I am anymore. I dont think anyone knows who i am anymore.
