"I can't believe we switched again," Nadine remarked as she followed Kath--who was once more in her body--to the next class.

"But this time, you can go with me to make sure I don't mess anything up!" Kath chirped.

Nadine blushed as she saw other students look oddly at her--or rather Kath. "Be careful with talking to me, not everyone can see I'm here," she reminded.

Kath's eyes enlarged as she began to rub her head nervously. "I-I love you too! I have to go to class so I must turn off my ear telephone talking device," she yelped in an attempt to lessen their suspensions.

Nadine rolled her eyes and smacked her head at Kath's acting attempt. "It's called bluetooth," she informed.

Kath let out a hearty chuckle. "Oh..."

Kath had asked Nadine prior if it was okay if they could switch for some of her classes as she wanted to see how else it could boggle her memory. Albeit reluctant at first, Nadine decided to give in with the rule provided that she accompany her to ensure no further damage could be done.

And so far, it's been fine. Kath knew Calculus and was able to grasp the reading in the media class, but a film class had stumped her as the techniques she was aware of were from way before--which caused Nadine to develop more questions if anything as to where she had come from as the lessons weren't particularly sophisticated and anyone in the modern era would have heard of some of the same techniques used, even if not deeply.

If she were dead, why were her memories tied to many years before and nothing recent? And if she had died then, why was it she only appeared now.

She had made it clear that she had no intention of delving into the existentialist crisis of Kath's being, but everyday nurtured her curiosity to expand.

"So, one more class left?" Kath whispered, leaning in closer to Nadine's spirit.

"Just French 3 and we're done," Nadine informed.

Kath skipped into the class excitedly, her skirt--which she had asked Nadine to let her try on--gliding through the air as she took a seat right in the front.

Nadine folded her arms and sighed. Kath was lucky that they were the first ones there as Nadine would have probably joined her then and there due to death by immense embarrassment.

Grinning, Kath swiveled her head, puckering her mouth and motioning her to sit next to her.

"It's so cold," Kath complained as she raveled her arms around her body.

"It usually tends to be in the classrooms. They go overboard with airconditioning," Nadine explained as she too shivered due to the temperature. The class was in an older building, hence the chalkboard and stone walls that caused it to be even cooler.

"It looks like a dungeon," Kath commented as her eyes swayed across the empty room in sheer curiosity and amusement.

Nadine smirked. "School does have a tendency to feel like a prison."

"Not all buildings, the library looks like a castle," Kath replied, folding her hands as she shut her eyes and let out a dreamy sigh. "It was so pretty...all the books..." Her lips curved into a smile as she thought back to the many novels she encountered

"Okay, Belle," Nadine teased.

"Who is Belle?" Kath asked, cocking her head to the side and lifting up an eyebrow.

"Beauty and the Beast?" Nadine replied.

Kath's eyes widened. "Um....which version? Beaumont or Barbot de Villeneuve?"
