I WROTE THIS IN THE CAR TO UPLOAD WHEN I GOT TO THE HOTEL. FEEL SPECIAL

I barely had to do anything. We aren't having a funeral because no one really knew gram and I knew none of my family would come. Its only been a day I haven't stepped foot in the house Ive been sitting in the driveway either in or out of my car. Just waiting for anything to happen. But as I sit here and wait. Nothing happens. I finally turned my phone on and it blew up with messages. both Sadie and Harry but one caught my eye. Jay. I opened the message.
Jay: Hey, I just thought I should text you and see what's up. I haven't heard from you in a while and I miss you. So when you get this message please respond.
The message sounded like something happened. I opened my contacts and decided to call him.
**Phone Call**
Jay: Hello?
Me: Hey It's Sky
Jay: Sky oh my god what's up?
Me: I just got your text and thought I should call you and catch up.
Jay: Yeah. Yeah we should. So what's been happening?
Me: Umm I'm on my own now.
Jay: You moved out of your grams?
Me: Uh no she past away yesterday.
Jay: Oh god Skyla I'm so sorry I didn't know.
Me: No one knew it's just me so far.
Jay: I really wish I could hug you right now. What time is it there?
Me: Midnight.
Jay: it's 4 here in Cali. So does this mean I won't see you next summer?
Me: Probably not. Im sorry.
Jay:Nno need but hey I have to get to basketball practice. I love you. Call me tomorrow sometime.
Me: Ok love you too. Bye
**End of call**
I was crying. For the thousandth time today. It felt great to hear Jay's voice.
"Who were you talking to?" I jumped at the voice behind me but I knew who it was so I didn't turn around. I was sitting there in the grass facing the house.
"My friend Jay back in Cali"
"Friend? Last time I checked friends don't say they love each other"
"Harry I've been friends with him since as long as I can remember. Don't over react" He sits next to me in the grass. I don't dare look at him. I'm crying and if I look at anyone or especially those green eyes I know I will break again.
"Mind telling me why your outside at midnight"
"Mind telling me why your at my house at midnight?"
"I was walking around I couldn't sleep. Skyla look at me" I shake my head and wipe the fresh tears off my face.
"Baby, why are you crying?" I see his hand reach up and touch my face lightly grabbing my chin and turning my face towards him. His thumb catches a tear that fell.
"What's wrong?" I didn't answer him I pulled away from him and looked at my lap.
"C'mon let's get you inside it's freezing out here anyways" he gets up and grabs my arms I pull away hard. He's right it is freezing but I'm not ready.
"No. I'm not going in there"
"Skyla please go inside I will go with you"
"No no no no. Don't make me go In there no no no no" I'm going crazy I wrap myself into a ball. His arms wrap around my body and he sits there with me curled into a Ball.
"Hey hey hey I'm not making you go in there it's ok calm down" his voice is calm compared to my small raspy voice.
"Don't make me go in there, don't make me go in there" Now I know I'm going crazy. I hide my face in my knees just sitting there.
"Skyla tell me what happened"
"She's gone I can't go in there I'm alone she's gone"
"Shhh who's gone?"
"She's gone Harry I'm alone"
"Your not alone I'm here" He's not here I can't feel him anymore I can't feel anything I feel empty and numb.
