Chapter 4:

Dantooine

Counsel of Master's an hour later:

"She must be dealt with," Master Vrook harshly declares.

"She did nothing wrong," Master Zhar retorts. "They've had a standing arrangement for years. One we did not revoke."

"But you saw what she did!" "Yes, barely." Master Zhar retorts. "Such affinity those two," Master Vandar adds.

"The other Padawans.... could not track them." At this another Master lightly snorts.

"Some of us could hardly keep up with them."

"She's been holding back," Master Zhar concurs. "Ferox and I...we have not been in her league for some time," he admits. At the mention of the Knight Master Vrook makes a sound of disgust.

"Peace," Master Vandar reminds.

"We all know they're both nothing but trouble." Master Vrook declares. "They both will fall one day. Tavers already is. That power she was about to unleash...it was of the Sith."

"Force lightning, I believe," The Master of the archives, Atris concurs, gaining a nod from Master Vrook."

"She has not fallen," Master Vandar declares gaining a look of disbelief from Master Vrook.

"The Council should still be informed," Atris promptly advocates.

"Then her undoing you will bring." Master Vandar frankly declares, gaining several shocked looks from his fellow Masters. "She senses their gilded cage." At this several Masters mutter in disbelief. "I have seen it!" Master Vandar declares smacking his walking stick to the ground. "Such affinity that one has...She knows she's ensnared and for her freedom she will fight..." He meets and holds Master Vrook's gaze. "I know your fears. Sith once perhaps but now Jedi. Tis her freedom and a Knight to guide her she needs, not this. Her falling or worse you would bring by it."
