Breaking Lights

Mates?! No...

Lightning's POV

"Line the girls up right there against the wall," A deep voice spoke, causing me to open my eyes.

"Ugh...my head," I groaned as I sat up and stared down at the floor for a second, when all the sudden I was jerked up by my shirt and I was put against the wall.

About twelve girls were lined up against the wall, including me... Some were crying and others were completely silent....

A tall man walked down the line of girls and examined each and every one of us. The male's black wolf ears stood straight up and his long, black tail swished side to side. His black hair was very long and it stopped just above his bottom. The man's eyes were a deep shade of red and his skin had a nice tan to it; he wore no shirt and his beautiful upper body was tight and he definitely had a six-pack. He also wore a pair of long blue jeans, combat boots, and a cross necklace laid around his neck.

I was angry because I was here...but make before me made my wolf wanna jump after him and snuggle....but I held it together.

"My named is Shadow, I'm the son of the alpha on the southern side of the island...as you guys know," The male said. The faces on every girl looked even more terrified than before.

Shadow was known to be one of the most cruelest men in history. Though he was still young, he killed many people...and collected women for his personal use..

Shadow went around a sniffed every girl, "This one has a mate," He said and pointed at a blonde girl, "Take her back to her mate," Shadow said and pushed the girl to the guards who took her away.

"Everyone else seems to be sluts..." Shadow narrowed his eyes and looked directly at me, "Who the hell brings a kid to be one of my whores?" Shadow growled and pulled me out from the line, "She's even a virgin...God... Take her to a bedroom and we will figure out what to do with her in the morning..."

Two guards grabbed each of my arms and pulled me into a hallway and lead me into a room. The room was large and had many different designs on the walls, the main color of the room was red and everything looked very classy.

I was thrown into the floor and then the door was locked behind me. "Hey!" I shouted and ran towards the door, banging against it, before I gave up and walked to the bed and sat down.

I pulled the covers down and laid inside the sheets, then I began wishing I had my cellphone...but nope, it was taken in from me by one of the guards..

12:57AM

I was asleep when the door to my room slowly opened and then shut, the noise scared me so I quickly sat up and looked to see what is was...but I didn't see anyone...

I slowly laid my head back down and the I came face to face with a pair of blue eyes. "Agh!" I shouted and jumped to the other side of the bed; it was Shadow...but instead of red eyes...his eyes were glowing blue?

Shadow smiled and sat on the bed, "I can't believe you returned my Little Light," He said.
I was very confused, "Little Light?" I asked.

Shadow's smiled faded and he sighed, "Never mind," He said and he laid his head on a pillow, then pulled my body against his.

Compared to me, Shadow was a large man and he made me look tiny. "Are you gonna rape me or something?" I asked.

All of the sudden I sat up quickly to a alarm like noise and looked around... It was daylight.. I had done dreamed everything that just happened, I sighed deeply.

I sat up and I noticed I was in my own bed...but everything that happened last night...was so real..

9:21AM

I walked out into the kitchen and I noticed my family was sitting at the table...they all looked nervous... Even my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins were here...what?

"Hey, guys?" I asked and everyone looked in my direction. "Lightning! Oh God..." My grandmother shouted and backed away from me.

"Did something happen?" I asked and raised a eyebrow, "Wait! Who died?" I began to freak out.

"No one..." My father replied and shook his head, "She's covered in his scent..." My mother said and looked over at my father.

I stared them down and walked a little closer as they backed away even further. So... What happened last night wasn't a dream?

12:45PM

All of my belongings were tossed outside and my parents burned them...as I was scent back to the clan... Apparently my parents thought I had become mates with Shadow...but why? Nothing happened the night before...he laid with me and then I awoke up in my bed...

I sighed as I stepped out of the car and walked towards the castle, where Alpha John and my best friend Fang lived together.

5:54PM

I sat down at the dinner table beside Fang and we both are in silence as Alpha John sat in front of us...boy did he look grossed out..

"So, Lightning," The alpha broke the silence, "What made you wanna become mates with our biggest enemy?"

I looked up from my plate, "I swear.. Nothing even happened... All he did was cuddled with me..." I replied.

"Then why would his scent be on you so strongly?" Alpha asked.

"Maybe it's because Shadow had strong smell?" Fang asked and crossed her arms. I could tell she was upset with what happened, but she still had my back.

"Hmm.. I suppose so... But why would he wanna rub his scent on you like that?" Alpha asked, "Maybe to make you guys upset with me? Or prove a point some how?" I replied.

The conversation went on for hours...until finally.. Fang and I were sent to bed...

2:00AM

'BANG!' A loud noise was heard through out the castle as I sat up quickly and turned my lamp on.

I shined the light around my room, but nothing was knocked over... "BOO!" A man shouted and jumped in front of me...it was Shadow...

"Ahh!" I jumped back, "What the hell?" I shouted as he covered my mouth.
