Falling For You

Lightning's POV

3:45PM

"N-no... Hey!" I yelled as I was shoved into a large black car with Alpha Moon. I kicked and fought back the guards... I didn't wanna go home with this man...

"Shadow!" I screamed to the top of my lungs as the door was shut... All of the sudden a arm was wrapped around me and I was pulled close to a warm body. "My mate.." Moon said softly, "I'm so glad you have returned.." I looked up at him, "MATE?!" I yelled, "I've never even met you!" I growled loudly and began howling for Shadow... He was the only person I trusted now... Besides White Fang, my best friend... I trusted her with my life. (Heather, I do not trust you with my life. You are a very insane/crazy lady❤️💕)

"Little Light.." Moon's voice was soft, but deep, "Please.. Stop acting like this.." He ran his fingers around one of my large white wolf ears and began to rub it softly. A light blush appeared on my cheeks as my leg began to kick and my tail made large thumping sounds against the seat.

My ear twitched at the sound of the car starting and it began to drive down the large graveled driveway. I jumped up, snapping back into reality... I howled once again for Shadow... Hoping he'd hear me..

30 minutes later...

I sat in the seat, finally calmed down and stared out the car window. I was grouchy and every time Moon said something, I looked back at him and growled....

I watched the view as we drove over the side of a cliff.. I looked down towards the bottom.. I could see swords, armor, and many bones from a Great War about one hundred years ago between all the clans of the island... I heard it was the worst war in the history of wars on this island...

All of the sudden there was a large banging sound against the car, pushing it towards the side of the cliff. I squealed as Moon grabbed my arm, breaking the window and trying to get both of us out.

The car was only hanging on by it's back wheels when the driver climbed out and leaned over to help Moon and I.

Moon was pulled out of the window, but lost his grip of me... The car began slip more and it finally lost its own grip to the side of the cliff...

I became nervous and quickly jumped out of the window and hanged to the side of the cliff as the car crashed to the ground underneath me...  I looked up at Moon who held his hand up for me to grab... I lifted my arms up... But something happened and I slipped and fell towards the ground..

A scream made it's way pass my lips... My heart skipping a beat... My breathing stopped... My life flashed before my eyes... Then I seen a bright light....I was preparing for my ending...

Then I was jerked back to reality as a dark Shadow darted his way towards me, wrapping his long arms around my body and tucking my head in his chest.

Everything slowed down for a moment.... I looked up and seen Shadow's handsome face.. A light smiled made it's way on his lips as we made eye contact.

A blush fell into my cheeks, "Shadow.." I whispered. He closed his I, "I love you..." I swear he said....

Then we hit the ground...

I thought I would be hurt...but no?

I sat up and looked down at Shadow....

What?

He laid there..motionless... His long black hair covered part of his face... His mouth partially open... A little blood dripping from the corner of his mouth.. His arms dropped to his sides... His chest wasn't moving... Meaning he wasn't breathing...

A tear slipped from my eye and I bent over....and began sobbing.....

Shadow was dead....
