Shadow began to chuckle, his voice echoed in the large room we were in. "W-what?" I asked, as I was very confused.
Shadow stopped laughing and just smiled at me, placing his large hand on my leg. There was something different about him, he seemed happy.
Shadow stood up and sat down on my bed, he pulled my head towards his face and whispered in my ear, "I can't believe they fell for it," Shadow began laughing once more, "They really think I'm your mate!"
I blushed softly from hearing the word 'mate,' and I turned my head towards the large widow and seen the stars staring through the glass...like a bunch of eyes.
"What did you do to make them think we were mates?" I asked and looked back towards the laughing Shadow. "Oh.. I just removed my clothing.. And rubbed my body all over yours.. Combining are scent," He said, "But the only reason they fell for it was began I have a strong scent.. Because I'm a powerful man.."
Shadow's expression changed to serious really fast; "Lightning... There is something I need to tell you..." He said softly. My ears perked up as I was ready to listen... When my bedroom door was slammed open...
"Oh my.. GAURDS!" Alpha John shouted, "SHADOW IS IN THR BUILDING!"
Shadow narrowed his eyes and stood up, "I just came back for what belongs to me..." Shadow growled, I could tell he felt threatened.
"You won't be taking her anywhere, you little bitch!" My friend Fang peeked her head out from behind the alpha and walked towards Shadow... She was approaching a wild animal without hesitation... And every smart wolf knows.... You never approach a alpha without permission...
Alpha John became nervous and grabbed Fang, pulling her towards him, "What the hell are you doing?" The alpha shouted. "Trying to help my best friend!" Fang replied.
Shadow groaned and grabbed my arm, pulling me out of my bed. "Come on, let's go," Shadow pulled me towards the window.
"HEY!" Fang yelled and ran towards us, but before she could reach Shadow and I... Shadow leaped out of the window, jumped to the ground, and darted away...towards the dark forest...with me holding on to his back.
6:00AM
Shadow arrived at his home and the large doors of his castle were opened for him. He carried me inside and then down a long and dark hallway.
I couldn't see anything, but I did see Shadow's eyes glowing, they were like flashlights..
Shadow ran up a flight of stairs and then he opened another door, and flipped the lights on. "Here we are," Shadow said, "This is my room."

The bedroom was very large and I was surprised to see that a room as neat as this one belonged to man...
"Wow.. This is kinda nice," I said as Shadow sat me down, "Yes, you will stay in here...with the door locked.. I can't risk anyone knowing I brought you here," He said softly.
4:00PM
I was sitting on Shadow's bed, when Shadow entered the room. He had a plate of food in his hand and he walked over towards me and handed to me.
"Thanks," I said and began to eat, the food was pretty good, it was a steak and some mash potatoes.. Nothing too fancy, but it was alright.
Shadow sat down on the bed and laid back, "I'm tired," He said, "I've been out in the sun... Dealing with slaves.."
I looked over in shock, "Slaves?" I asked and raised a eyebrow. "Yeah, my father captures humans and makes them slaves... I've been trying my best to get as many out of here as possible.." Shadow sighed deeply.
I finished my meal and sat the plate on the night stand beside me, "Oh, I thought you were supposed to be some kinda evil man... But now I see your really a good person," I said.
Shadow sat up and narrowed his eyes, "I'm not a good person," He growled and walked out of the bedroom and into the hall.
Why would he say that about himself? Why would he say he's not a good person? Oh.. He was a very confusing man...
I yawned and laid down, I decided to take a short nap...because I didn't sleep much the night before...
11:46PM
I felt the bed shake and I quickly opened my eyes; Shadow was lying down and he looked over towards me, my face lit up a bright red. Shadow rolled his eyes and and turned to his side, not speaking for the rest of the night...
