I often wondered whether you thought about me like do,
Whether you ever whispered in your dreams," I love you",
Whether you ever saw us fly,
Like birds in the crepuscular sky.
Whether you ever wanted to hold my hand,
kiss my forehead and see my feet rise from the land.
But then I remembered what you said,
Your words created a pandemonium in my head.
You only vaguely remembered me,
It was only me who dreamt of a 'we',
I could never understand that we were far,
Near in distance, like the moon and the star,
But miles apart,
When it came to loving from the heart.
