When your world breaks down instead of you breaking through,
When everyone poses vehement glances at you.
When there is some uncertainty, a fear in your poise,
And tears of pain accumulate in your voice.
When your lips veil the truth and covers it with missiles of lies,
When you're exhausted of feigning, and you hide your screaming eyes.
When dreams slip from your fingers like grains of sand,
When dust accumulates; brownish grey on your hand.
When you look to find the birds scoring the sky,
Are waving to you, a silent goodbye.
When the person you see in the mirror is full of pain,
And the drops crashing on your window; drown you dry during rain.
When airplanes of hope crash and poetry hits you hard,
And your conscience, you realise, is brutally scarred.
Know that you can never fix a broken glass,
Know that you have to let go because this too shall pass.
