All my life I lived in this fear,
After every passing year,
Whether you will ever see me like you see her.
The monsters in my head are fighting at their bay,
I don't even know in which corner they stay,
But then I realise that you're the demon from whom I need to stay away.
Because you hurt me but you don't care,
I wish we were a pair,
But all you do is compare.
In the end, you are a hammer and I am just a nail,
You hit me hard, and in every step I fail,
To rise and to set my ship to sail.
