3. Love you still

You and I don't rhyme,
We were both the same poem, just a different line,
But you were a word which didn't spell mine.

I knew that you were fiery as hell,
And yet in your flames I chose to dwell,
Your absence burnt my skin,
It scratched and tore me from within.

I know my love you will refuse,
I know it is not I that you choose.
I know we're the wrong poem, the wrong fill,
But I'm a fool who will love you still.

{I know you don't look at me like I do. But I still wait for the day you will say," I love you too"}
