Sometimes I wish that these watches on my wall,
Could stop for a while, so we could fall,
Together in love, till our eyes,
Understood our white lies,
And our lips said,
The words we hid in our head.
So that we could watch the fireflies fly,
And see the lightening flash our names in the sky.
Hear the nightingales sing our songs on a tree,
And smile at the world as it stopped just for you and me.
But then a tear falls on my cheek,
I realise that these dreams are unreal, weak.
My eyes deceive me, leave me forlorn,
Time makes me realise that you're already gone.
