Chapter 9

Me ? You ? Never happening EVER !

I walk out my dorm and slowly stroll down the corridor making sure I have everything and I see my mates are chilling outside their dorms just catching up in their life's, they catch a glimpse of me and I start to show off, I'm going on a date with the most beautiful girl who I've been with for 3 years...
"FUCKER RYDER !"
I start to pop my collar and toss the black box to them and they start to be shocked...
As usual they are cheeky and all dramatic and they pretend to faint saying...
"OH RYDER YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE !"
"Is it not too early ?"
"Who's the best man ?"
"Can I plan the wedding ?"

"GENTS SHUT UP !"
Silence falls between us and I start to laugh and they laugh....
I rest my hand on Tristan...
"Will you be my best man ?"
"And will you all be my groomsmen ?"

"OF COURSE !"

Later that night, me and Estelar are drinking our wine and just savoring our moments we've spent together for 3 years, the waiter comes and I order food for us to share...
"You know we been together for fucking 3 years !"
"I know it's crazy ey !"
"DAMN 3 years..."
"Where did time go ?"

A voice in the background startled me...
"RYDER ?"
"Isabella ?"
"Is it really you ?"
"Yeah it is ! How have you been ?!"
"It's been all good, me and Tristan broke up and this guy Joshua met and we've been going out since..."
"So you found another right after you two broke up ?"
Estelar looks confused and taps my foot under the table...
"Ummm Isabella this is Estelar my girlfriend..."
"Hello..."
She sticks out her hand for a handshake but Isabella rejects her with a disturbing look...
"I know..."
"How ?"
"I follow your social media Ryder, I'm not stupid..."
"Shame I thought you were when you cheated on me with Tristan..."
"Wait you guys dated ?"
Estelar asks Isabella and I quickly reply with...
"Yeah just for 2 years... but she moved to London 2 weeks before I did and she was going out with Tristan at the time while she was with me..."
"Well at least you and I broke you two record am I right Ryder ?"
"By exactly one year we did..."
Estelar and I high five each other and we both see it is getting on Isabellas nerve...
"I wish the two of you the best and by the way Estelar, I honestly think I was better in bed than you are..."
"Excuse me ?"
"What ?!"
"How can you prove yourself sexually if you do not even know me..."

I am sitting in between two people which one i once loved and one which I'm crazy for...

FLASH BACK TO ONE YEAR AGO

We start our memory where me and Estelar are walking to our dorms and my phone rings, but not my normal one, the foreigners one...
"Im sorry Estelar but I have to go..."
"It's fine baby..."
She gently kisses me in the cheek and skips to her dorm and hums her favorite song...
I flip the phone..
"Yes ?"
"Come... Now... You must work now..."
"On my way..."

I get to the warehouse and my dried blood is still on the floor from where we all first met,and the short man walks from behind me and gives my tools to build the machine...

After 3 hours of working, the foreigners come and give me food and water and allow me to call Estelar and suggest I go home...
I thank them and say I'll be back tomorrow, even though they might kill me they are still gentlemen and a man of their word...

I clean my hands of the machines oil and put my jacket on and walk out the warehouse on my way to my dorm so I can continue my studies, which seems they might never end...

I get back to my dorm and I collapse on my couch, exhausted from being worked until I can't continue,it's as if they think I'm a machine, at least I get fed.

BACK TO THE PRESENT

"Oh please look at yourself!"
Isabella screams at Estelar and I stand up to stop them from fighting....
"Isabella listen, it was nice seeing you but you need to leave and remove yourself from my life..."
"Fine... if that's how you feel..."
"It was long ago."
"Are you sure ?"
"I will never be with you... EVER."

Isabella fixes her jacket and picks up her purse and walks out the restaurant, I turn to look at Estelar and she is almost in tears...
"Why you crying baby girl ?!"
I kneel next to her and hold her hands while wiping away her tear...
"Is it true ? That she's better ?"
"Of course not ! If SHE was best than I'm the prince of Egypt, so can we please just enjoy the rest of the night..."
"Fine.."
she wipes away her tears and gets up and walks out the restaurant so I pay the bill and follow her...

I watch her walk in front of me, her arms crossed, I've never seen her this upset. We roam the streets of London until we land upon Bond street, we standing under the lights and I pulls her back and wrap my arms around her, where I hugged her tight whispered in her ear...
"I love you Estelar..."
"I love you too Ryder..."
" but you don't understand how much I do."
"What do you mean ?"

I wink at this man who is playing the guitar to start playing a romantic song...

"Ryder what are you doing..."
"Estelar I've loved you for a long time..."
"I love you to !"
"But my love for you is unconditional and I want you in my life..."

A group of violin artists start to play...

"And you don't understand how much I need you..."

I snatched a rose from a flower stand and put it in her hair, and she begins to blush...
"I know this night wasn't the best night ever but I've had fun and an amazing time because I'm with you!"
"Ryder what are you doing..."

I kneel on one knee and pull out the black box,and ask the 4 scary questions....

" Estelar Lorra Smith ...."

"Ryder ?"

"Will you marry me ?"
