Now or Never

"Hey are you okay ?"

I'm shot to what's going on to finding Estelar crazing towards me in our bed, back in our apartment....

"How did we get here ?"
"No we not here !"
"Then ...."
"You're just having a dream !"

Her face begins to crumble and break away as if the wind was blowing away a dust mountain in the shape of her body and causing me to be left with nothing...
again....

I'm brought back to reality when Mathew is constantly asking me if I'm okay and tapping my shoulder...

"Bro. Are you okay ?"
"Yeah I'm fine ! Is your bullet proof vest tighten up ?"
"Yeah it is, how's yours ?"
"It's fine..."

I gripped on the steering wheel and my body starts to tense up. My body starts to feel drained and I feel like I'm going to melt and I'm going to faint. I need to get myself together, and I need to start feeling normal...

I begin to remember all the moments Estelar and I had and all the things that made us happy, besides being next to each other.

"So what are you working on there ?"
She asked me when my computer started to switch on...
"Oh umm actually I'm building something for a university I was supposed to go to here in South Africa."
"That's so cool, I was offered a scholarship in America for art."
"Oh so fancy!"
She laughs at my joke and I feel like I accomplished something in life...
"So where you staying in America ?"
"I don't know but when I do I'll let you know."
"How could you know if you don't have my number smarty pants ?"
She smirks at me as if I had an answer for that, so with instinct I had something just hope she doesn't think I'm a weirdo...
"Well maybe it's a way of me asking for your number..."

I remember meeting her as if it was yesterday, all it does is play back in my head, along with the other thoughts...
From when I asked for her number, to asking her out, to asking for her hand in marriage.

"Ryder I want you to ask me something.."
"Hmmm let's see"
We stopped and looked deep into each other's eyes....
"Estelar ?"
"Yes ?"
"Will you go out with me ?"

I gently fall back into reality as Estelar hugs me from behind...
"We gonna be late baby.."
"Okay I'll get out now."

She winks at me and gently kisses me and leaves, God I love her, and thank the universe she loves me back.

I get out the shower and she is leaving the room saying she is going to her friends dorm to get ready for our dinner date...

Later that night I quickly fix my shirt and buckle my pants and I just adjust my hair,put my watch on and grab my car keys, my wallet, MY phone and the stupid phone the foreigners gave me...

I look around to see if anyone was watching and I reach under my pillow and pull out...

A small black box....

I watch her walk in front of me, her arms crossed, I've never seen her this upset. We roam the streets of London until we land upon Bond street, we standing under the lights and I pulls her back and wrap my arms around her, where I hugged her tight whispered in her ear...
"I love you Estelar..."
"I love you too Ryder..."
" but you don't understand how much I do."
"What do you mean ?"

I wink at this man who is playing the guitar to start playing a romantic song...

"Ryder what are you doing..."
"Estelar I've loved you for a long time..."
"I love you to !"
"But my love for you is unconditional and I want you in my life..."

A group of violin artists start to play...

"And you don't understand how much I need you..."

I snatched a rose from a flower stand and put it in her hair, and she begins to blush...
"I know this night wasn't the best night ever but I've had fun and an amazing time because I'm with you!"
"Ryder what are you doing..."

I kneel on one knee and pull out the black box,and ask the 4 scary questions....

" Estelar Lorra White...."
"Ryder ?"

"Will you marry me ?"

She is my queen, I felt like two people, but she made me feel as one and she made me feel alive and she would give me this feeling that I could rule the world, and she would be by my side every step of the way. I wasn't going to let an asshole step between me and the love of my life.

"Ryder ? Are you okay ?"
"Yes, why would you think of something else ?"
"Because you haven't talked since we left the HQ."
"I've just had a lot on my mind and I've been trying to clear it."
"You know you can talk to me about anything hay..."
"I know, don't worry..."

I was worrying....
