Samantha's POV

The whole room went silent and no one spoke. I must say, I’m really surprised I didn’t recognize Taylor as soon as he walked into the room. I guess I never really fully met him before and I haven’t seen him in a very long time. It also doesn’t help that he’s in the military and has been in Afghanistan for the past 13 months. He was scheduled to come home only two months before we moved away.

One question kept going through my head, why is he here? I mean, why now? Sara has been moved out for over a year and he come to see her now? Something doesn’t make sense.

Taylor walked over to Sara while she still has a look of shock on her face.

“Taylor?” She asked in disbelief. “W-What are you doing here?” He looked like he was going to say something but he stopped, changing his mind.

“Do you mind if we talk in private?” He requested. We all got the hint and started to head out the door for the second time. I followed behind Niall as we all walked towards the exit and out of the hospital.

Sara’s POV

Everyone left, including Anne and Gemma, and the door was shut softly, careful not to wake the twins. As for me, I still can’t believe I’m in the same room as my older brother. I haven't seen him in over a year. The last time I saw him was over a year ago when he was leaving to Afghanistan for the first time. I remember crying for what felt like weeks after he left because I haves always had a special connection with my brother. That’s why I never told him about the abuse I was getting from our parents. I always made up a stupid excuse like I hurt myself playing football or something. I really missed my brother and even though I told myself I would never think of my life back at home, I can’t say I haven’t thought about Taylor.

“W-What are you doing here?" I repeated. He looked down at his hands and almost looked like he was embarrassed to admit something. What could he possible my embarrassed about? He didn’t do anything wrong, did he? He looked at Harry and then back at me.

“I know what mum and dad did to you.“ My eyes widened and I looked at him in disbelief. A part of me feels ashamed and another part of me feels guilty for not telling him. Maybe I should have because then maybe he could have stopped it. It’s too late now.

“You do?” I asked, not knowing what to say. He nodded his head.

“Yeah I do and I’m so sorry. I had no idea what was going on and I swear if I knew I would have done everything I could do to help you.” He said. I let out a deep breath.

“Thank you, I really appreciate you saying hat.” I told him sincerely. He gave me a small smile. It was silent for a few seconds and then he looked at the sleeping twins. The smile on his face grew bigger.

“So is this my niece and nephew?” He asked. I nodded my head and looked at Aiden.

“Do you want to hold him?” He looked up at me and nodded his head. I reached over and placed him in his arms. Aiden moved around a little and then settled.

“What’s his name?” He asked, not removing his eyes from the baby.

“His name is Aiden and her name is Addison.” I told him. He looked at Addison who is sleeping peacefully in Harry’s arms. As for Harry, he hasn’t said much. He already knows about me and my family so I have no problem, with him being here and listening to our conversation.

“Oh,” I paused, getting their attention. “Harry, this is my brother Taylor. Taylor this is my boyfriend Harry.” I paused again before calling Harry my boyfriend because I wasn’t sure that was the right word to use. I mean, he is my boyfriend and everything but ever, well, ever since he gave me the promise ring back in Cheshire, I feel like we’re something more than girlfriend and boyfriend. I haven’t talked to Harry about any of this because I’m scared that he might not feel the same way towards me. I know he gave me the promise ring and obviously that meant something but maybe things will change once we bring the twins home and experience being parents.
