*Five Months Later
Grey clouds hovered in the sky. Likely ready for winter. "Gettin' pretty cold out." Abigail said to Clementine. "Only means we should look for warmer clothing. Something tells me that this winter'll be pretty harsh." Clementine said. Abigail nodded at her.
"This means it'll be harder to get food as well." Will brought up as he walked beside them. "Animals will be hibernating. Most likely stores around here have been robbed." He said. Clementine groaned. "I think you're right." She said. "Let's just start with warmer clothing before we worry about that, okay?" Will said to them. They nodded at him. "Where should we look?" Abigail asked them.
"We could start with that store. If nothin's there, then we'll move onto the next." Will said to them. "Let's just go? I'm fucking freezing." Clementine said. Will nodded at her and walked over to the group.
As they walked into the town, Katey hugged herself for warmth. She just wanted warmer clothing other then her thin sweater. "You okay?" Abigail asked her. "I'm cold." Katey muttered. "I am too. Hopefully we can find some winter clothes." Abigail said. "Me too." Katey agreed. "What about food? Supplies?" Katey added. "We'll worry about that later. Let's just get into warmer clothes." Abigail said. "Okay." Katey muttered.
"Okay. Just find anything that looks warm." Will said. They all broke into singles. Walking through the aisles of the darkened store.
"See anything ya like?" Abigail asked Kendra as they looked through jackets. "Mmmm, not yet." Kendra told her. Abigail caught something that interested her. "Whatcha think?" Abigail asked, holding a dark blue women's vest up. Also with a sweater with pink and dark blue stripes.
"Ya sure that's whatcha want?" Kendra asked. "Hell yeah." Abigail said. "In the mean time, try this." Abigail said. Holding a green jacket to Kendra.
"Like it?" She asked. Kendra took it in hand and examined it. "Ain't bad lookin'." Kendra said. "Jus', go find a fittin' room so ya got privacy when ya take off..." Abigail said, looking at Kendra's mechanic suit. "Right." Kendra said to her and walked off.
"This look good?" Clementine asked from behind Abigail. She turned to face Clementine. Being met with a bright red jacket.
"Yeah. Nice find." Abigail said. "You sure you're gonna be warm in that?" Clementine asked. "Yeah. It'll be fine." Abigail said.

"Oooooh." Abigail said in awe. Kendra smiled at her and placed her hand on her hip. "Whatcha think?" She asked them. Clementine nodded. "Looks good." She said. "I love those jeans, Ken." Abigail said. "They go really good with the jacket and y'er converse shoes." She added.
Kendra smiled at her. "They were the best I could find." She said. "Hudson's gon' be all like "Oh la la" when he sees ya." Abigail teased. "Hudson? We're just co-workers." Kendra said. "Uh-huh?" Abigail said, placing her hands on her hips. "I'm serious." Kendra told her. "Cause Hudson told me a few things." Abigail said. A blush formed on Kendra's cheeks.
"Y'er blushin'." Abigail told her. "Okay. I... kinda like 'em. Okay, is that whatcha wanted to hear?" Kendra said. Abigail grinned. "What'd he say?" Kendra asked her. "Oh, if y'er... single." Abigail said, a slight frown forming on her face. "Oh..." Kendra said. Also frowning. "You still miss Jake. Don't you?" Clementine said. Kendra nodded. "Yeah. A little." She said.
"Well, I'm just sayin'... ya don't havta do it. But, maybe... Hudson could be that person y'er lookin' for." Abigail said. Clementine let out a sigh. "Abigail." She said. "Hey, I'm sorry. I shouldn't a'-" "Yeah. Maybe." Kendra interrupted. Abigail nodded. "Maybe just talk with 'em f'er a bit. See where he's at with ya." She said. Kendra nodded. "I wanna move on. I do. But, Jake was special to me." She told them.
"He cared about me. Loved me more than any other person I dated." She added. Abigail brought Kendra into a tight hug. "Jake was a good person. No doubt about that." Abigail said. Clementine gripped her arm. Looking sadly at the ground. "Ya okay, Clem?" Kendra asked her. Clementine looked up and said, "Yeah. I just wish things happened differently."
Not a day went by where Clementine didn't miss her brother. Obviously, she still wished he was still alive. "Everything okay here?" Will asked. Now wearing a brownish red leather jacket. "Just a little down." Abigail told him. "Been a rough few months." Will said to them. "Ever since we had to leave Yankton, everything's been more difficult. Finding supplies isn't the same. Now with winter rollin' in..." They nodded in agreement.
"Let's not just lose hope." Clementine told them. "When we lose hope, we lose faith. Then we start to lose each other." She added. "That's right." Will said to them. "Let's keep our heads in this and not get to reckless. Otherwise, that's when things go to hell. Remember, we're still in this. And we'll look out for one another." He said.
Smiles grew on their faces. "Now. Let's get outta here." Will said.
