Abigail sat there. Tired and hungry. Her stomach groaned. "Here." Kendra said and sat beside her. "Eat." Abigail looked up at her. "What about you?" She said. Kendra grabbed Abigail's hand and looked her right in the eye. "Abigail. Take it. I'm doin' this 'cause I love you. Now eat. Please. For me." Kendra planted the granola bar into Abigail's hand and wrapped her fingers around it.
Abigail slowly opened it and took a bite. "S'been a few days since you ate though." Abigail said. "Abigail, just eat it." Kendra told her. "At least lemme share with ya." Abigail said, holding the granola bar out to her. "Abigail. You mean the world to me. I can't lose you. Now eat." "And I can't lose you." Abigail said. "Please. Just eat it Abigail. You deserve it." Kendra said.
"Fine. But next thing I get, y'er gon' eat it. And if you don't, I'll make you." Abigail said.
Clementine looked at the two sisters sitting beside each other. She closed her eyes and lowered her head. I miss you, Jake Clementine thought to herself. "Here. You should eat." Will said, holding out a piece of steak. Clementine's mouth immediately started to water as she took it from him.
"Thankshh." Clementine said with her mouth full. Will smiled and nodded. "No problem." Will looked at the two sisters. Kendra wrapped her arms around Abigail. "Can't imagine how close those two are." Will said. "Very." Clementine said to him. "Alfred and I never got to their level of bonding. Hell, we hated each other." Will said. His stomach suddenly groaned.
"I'd give you a piece, but..." Clementine had already finished the steak he gave her. "That's okay, Clem." He said. "Kinda wish that last group we asked gave us something." Will said. "Me too. But can you blame them? They also had children with them." Clementine said. Will sighed. "Clem, I don't really admit it much. But I'm scared." Clementine looked up at him. "I'm fucking scared." He said.
"Don't worry. Someone has to be be willing to give us some supplies." Will nodded. "I hope you're right." He said. "This winter's going to be hard on everyone." Will said. He eyed at everyone in his group. Kendra and Abigail sitting together. Katey and Jasmine sitting with each other. Hudson beginning to comfort Kendra. Kyle holding a rifle in his lap "I just hope we don't lose anyone." Will said. "We won't." Clementine told him.
Will smiled at her. "Thanks for being there for me, Clem." She smiled back at him. "We'll make it. All of us." She said.
