I know,
We both know how hard it is;
We both feel the difficulty it brings;
We share the same pain;
We live in the same world, same dream.
I feel,
How you wanted to get away;
How you tried to put me out of your way;
How you thought you must not stay;
How you pray for this each day.
I can see,
Why you needed to go;
Why your decision is no;
Why I ought to let you go;
Why I'll never have you, no.
But,
Can't you stay a little more?
Stay as long as I ask you to;
Stay and never go,
Until forever is all that is left for us to know.
