"Blaire? Blaire wake up, your breakfast is here." My eyes slowly opened to find I was being woken by Luke.

"What are you doing here?" I asked sadly as I looked up at him.

"Blaire, I'll never forgive myself for what I did and I know that you will never be able to forgive me either, and I don't expect you to. But I'm going to be here for you, whether you want me to or not I love you and I am not going to let anything happen to you ever again. You're all I have." He said as he smiled his genuine smile at me.

That smile.
The smile that I used to see every morning whilst I sat at my dining table, my mother sat to my left and my father next to her.

That smile I used to see every day when he would say goodnight, the warm smile that used to make me so happy.

That smile that would make me see things differently, it made me realise that it was okay. Luke made me feel happy with that smile when I was down.

That smile that screamed I love you, I love our family, I love life.

Then our parents died and everything changed.

The night it happened was the last time I've seen that smile until right now. That smile is all I need to know that everything is going to be alright.

I jumped into his arms, a tear falling down my cheek.

That smile was my parents.

"I've missed you so much, Luke." I said as I tried to hold back the tears.

"I'm here now, I'm never going to leave you again Blaire. I promise." He said as he held me tightly.

His promises.
Never has he broke a promise, Luke's promises mean forever.

"I'm so sorry." He cried out against me.

"Please don't forgive me Blaire, I don't deserve your forgiveness and I never will. Just know that I love you so much and I'll do anything and everything in my power to make you happy." He said through his tears.

I didn't say anything, I didn't need to.

I had my brother back.
