I was in the kitchen cooking Rabbit. Yes, Rabbit as in the animal Rabbit. My kids love it so I'm cooking it for them and also for Rayan and ReRe to try. While I was signing ReRe up for Kindergarten, Rosiey called me saying that she wouldn't be back to pick up her kids until 2 more weeks. I agreed to watch her kids for 2 more weeks.

While I was about to the Rabbit in the oven, ReRe came down stairs.

"Ms. Simmons?"

"Yes."

"I'm scared."

I sighed. "Is it about starting school?"

She nodded. "What if nobody likes me?"

I chuckled. "Re. Everyone likes you at Daycare, they would love you at Kindergarten."

"How you know?" Re said folding her arms.

"Just know that I know." I said smiling.

I put the Rabbit in the oven and start smiling. I remember when me and Jessie used to eat Rabbit mostly all the time in college. After we graduated, decided to move in together, and got married, we made a promise that when we have kids, to cook Rabbit for them so we all can joy the delicious animal.

Flashback

"Eww!" 10 year old Daniel said.

Jessie laughed. "Eww?"

Daniel nodded. "You and Mama used to eat...Rabbit?"

I smiled. "Yep, and it was good. Still good today."

"I'm good. I'm full." Daniel said rubbing his stomach.

"Fine then." I walked over to Nessa. "Honey, do you want to try Rabbit?"

"Yes." 3 year old Nessa smiled.

"See Daniel, Nessa is going to try Rabbit."

"Yeah. Tell her she's eating a bunny rabbit she won't be eating no more."

"Come on son, just try it." Jessie said rubbing Daniel's back.

"Okay...but if I spit it out, don't get mad at me."

I laughed while Jessie sat the plates of Rabbit in front of the kids.

"Don't just stare at it, it eat." Jessie laughed.

"I'm scared." Daniel said poking his food with his fork.

"About?"

"It might bites me."

Jessie sighed. "Let me help you cut your Rabbit baby." Jessie help cut Nessa's food.

"Daddy?"

"Yes baby girl."

"Eat with me." Nessa said.

Jessie smiled and looked at me. "How about we all eat Rabbit together."

"Yeah. We should." I grabbed me a plate and sat down.

"Okay. One the count of three, we all take a bite." Daniel said. "1...2...3!"

"How does it taste Dig?" I asked.

Daniel smiled. "It taste good." He took another bite.

"Nessa? How about you?" Jessie asked Nessa.

"It taste better than Spaghetti and Meatballs." Nessa laughed.
