Chapter 8

"Sabrina? Can I ask you something?" Bradley asks me. Right now we are walking on the beach. No one else is here and it is pretty quiet.

"Of course" I say.

"Well do you remember when we were reading over the adoption process and it said you have to be married and we got kinda scared but then he told us that we don't have to be married?" Bradley asks. He's rambling, I can tell that there is something up with him.

"Yeah. I remember" I say and turn to face him.

"Good" He says and gets of one knee. "Sabrina, will you marry me?" He asks and pulls out a ring from his back pocket.

I put my hands over my mouth. I was speechless, I didn't know what to say so I just nodded and I was about to cry tears of joy.

He smiles and stands up and kisses me for about 30 seconds then puts the ring on my finger.

"Thank you" I say and look at the ring. It was really pretty and simple. It just had a big diamond on the top and a few little ones around it on the like ring part.

"You don't have to thank me. I love you" He says

"I love you too" I say and we start walking again.

About a minute later I ask, "Your not just doing this because it gives us a better chance at getting Auggie and Ocean, right?"

He turns and faces me again. "No I'm doing this because I love you" and he kisses me again. "And I have no doubt in my mind that we won't get them" He says and I smile.

"Ok" I say and we start walking again.
