Chapter 20

The next day my name is all over the head lines more then it was the previous day. Supposedly me telling my manager in a email that "Auggie and Ocean are not a publicity stunt and never will be." Got out to the public and there were some mixed reactions. Some were praising me saying I'm doing such a great thing for the boys then others were calling me and bitch for saying that to my manager. Oh well. You can't please everyone.

It's almost time for all the talk shows and interviews and the boys have nothing to wear. The talk shows start on Monday and aren't going to stop until Friday. It's not that hard for me I used to it but I don't know how adjusted Auggie and Ocean are to it so it might be a little hard for them.

Today I'm picking Auggie up from school with Ocean and we are going to the mall to go shopping for clothes for them to wear.

I get to Auggie's school and me and Ocean get out of the car and go to the door where we pick him up.

He sees us and runs over to us. He hugs Ocean and then me.

"Hi Auggie. How was school?" I ask.

"It was a lot of fun" Auggie says.

"I'm glad" I say.

"Hi. Are you his babysitter?" The security guard that watches the kids leave asks me.

"No I'm his mom" I say.

"Oh ok" The lady says and looked very confused. She was probably wondering how I only look 10 years older then Auggie.

"I'm there adoptive mother. I should have been more clear on that" I say.

"Ok. That makes more sense. Have a nice day" The lady says.

"You too" I say and me and the boys leave.

"How come that lady thought you were our babysitter?" Auggie asks once they were buckled into the car and I was in the drivers seat.

"I'm still pretty young to have kids. If I wanted to have a baby I could but I'm still too young to have a biological 7 year old son. Does that make sense?" I say.

"Kinda" He says.

"Ok" I say. I knew he wasn't going to understand it but I could at least try to understand it.

We go to the mall and go to a children's clothing store.

"You can pick out 7 shirts each. Try and pick out like nice shirts" I say. I figured one for each talk show.

"Ok" Auggie and Ocean both say and Auggie starts walking over to the first section and Ocean follows him so I go with them.

Auggie picks out a black polo shirt.

"Is this my size mommy?" Auggie turns around and asks me while holding the shirt out.

"Let me see" I say and he gives it to me and I check and it's a size 7.

"Yep. That's your size. Anything with a 7 on it fits you" I say.

"Ok. Ill look for 7's" Auggie says.

"Ok" I say.

"What about me?" Ocean asks and Auggie moves on to the next section.

"Anything that says 3T fits you" I say and bend down and pull out a blue polo that says 3T. "Like this" I say.

"Ok. I'll look for that" Ocean says.

"Ok" I say and we walk over to Auggie.

They both pick out 6 more matching shirts. It's really cute that they wear matching clothes. I pick out matching pairs of pants and shorts for them to wear with the shirts.

We pay and walk out. We start walking pass the Disney store.

"Mommy can we go in there?" Ocean asks.

"Sure" I say and we go inside.

We were inside for about 2 minutes then my On Purpose music video starts playing on the TV's

"Mommy look that's you" Auggie says.

"Yeah. That's my music video to ones of my songs" I say.

"Where were you?" Ocean asks.

"I was in London. It's pretty far away from here. You have to take a airplane" I say.

"We've never been in a airplane before" Auggie says.

"We might be going on one next month going to New York" I say.

"Yay!" Both of them say.

We look around for a little bit and Ocean picks out a Toy Story toy and Auggie picks out a Mickey Mouse shirt.

We pay then leave the mall and go home.

In 2 days all the interviews start.
