Parenting {Brabrina}

Chapter 14

{I have a new Brabrina story out called "Mini Sab" You can go read it if you want. I'm calling it Fate meeting Parenting because that's kinda what it reminds me of}

So Bradley had been working down in the basement all weekend along with a few of his friends. Me, Auggie and Ocean haven't been allowed down. He keeps telling us it will be done soon and to be patient but with him soon and patient means you will have to wait months.

Me, Auggie and Ocean were playing in the living room. Me, Auggie and Ocean went to the toy store yesterday to get them some more toys so they are really excited.

"It's all done. Do you want to come see what I did?" Bradley calls up the stairs.

"Yeah!" The boys both yell and run downstairs and I walk down behind them.

I went downstairs and he completely redid the basement. He put in like cubbies in for toys, he hung up a tv, there is a table and chairs for coloring and he actually put like a mini indoor playground down there. It looked awesome.

"Do you like it?" he asked

"It's awesome!" Auggie says.

"I love it!" Ocean says.

"Now we just need to go to the toy store to get more toys for down here" Bradley says.

"We just went yesterday" I say.

"I know but you didn't know what I was working on." Bradley says. "How about we go tomorrow?" He asks.

"Ok" Auggie and Ocean both say.

All four of us go upstairs and eat lunch.

"Auggie do you know when you want to start school?" I ask. Me and Bradley have been talking about it and filled in the papers to register him.

"I don't know. Can I start next week? I like school" He says.

"Sure we can try" I say.

"Did you go to a public school when you were at the adoption center?" Bradley asks.

"No I was basically home schooled. Ocean doesn't go to school yet" Auggie said.

"We were both home schooled" I say.

"I don't want to to be homeschooled. I want to go make friends. I have never had a friend before" He says.

"How come?" I ask

"I just didn't like the boys my age at the adoption center. They were loud and crazy" He says.

"That's ok. I met them and they were insane. I'll call the school tomorrow and see when you can start" I say.

"Yay!" Auggie says.

"When can I start school?" Ocean asks

"Next year you can go to preschool" Bradley says

"Yay" Ocean says and we all finish our lunch.
