It has been a week since Bradley called the adoption center to have our second "play date" with Auggie and Ocean. It's today and I am so excited!

I have taken off for a couple of months from touring and acting to be fully committed to adopting Auggie and Ocean because it is what I really want right now.

The meeting is at 1:00 and I have been annoying Bradley all day about it. We are currently on our way and should be there in like 10 minutes.

I think Bradley is excited but I can't really tell. We have been dating for two years now and I can normally tell what he is feeling without him even telling me but today for some reason I can't. It's probably because I'm so excited so I want him to be just as excited as me.

We get there and he parks the car. We get out and go into the building. The same lady from last week is here.

"Hi Bradley and Sabrina. Come with me to the meeting room" She says and stands up. She goes through a different door into a room with just a huge table in it. Auggie, Ocean and another guy was sitting in there.

Auggie and Ocean run up to us and say hi. They seemed really excited that we were back which I really liked

"Hi I'm Mr. Williams. I am August and Ocean's worker basically" He says to us and stands up from the table.

"Hi I'm Bradley and this is my girlfriend Sabrina" Bradley says and shakes his hand.

"Hi" I say and I shake his hand after Bradley.

Me, Bradley, Auggie, Ocean, Mr. Williams and the lady from the front desk, who's names I still haven't gotten yet, all sat at the table. Me and Bradley sat on one side with Auggie and Ocean. Auggie sat next to Bradley and Ocean sat next to me. Then the lady and Mr. Williams sat next across from us.

"They must really like you. Every time they do a little interview like this they normally sit next to us" Mr Williams says.

I smile and ask "How many interviews have they had?"

"About 6 since they have been here which isn't a lot since they have been here for 3 years but none of the couples worked out" The lady says.

"How come?" Bradley asks.

"A couple of different reasons. I'm not sure how much you know about adoption but there is a lot that goes into it, like background checks, house checks and we always want to make sure that the kids like the couple looking to adopt. 4 of the times Auggie and Ocean didn't like the couples. And the other 2 didn't pass the background check" Mr. Williams says.

That made me nervous. I really hope Auggie and Ocean like us and I'm sure we will both pass a background check.

"Ok. How long does the adoption process normally take?" Bradley asks.

"About 2 months to a few years. It all depends on the people looking to adopt. For you two it probably wouldn't be too long. I would say six months at the most" The lady says.

"Ok great!" I say.

"So that's really all we are going to talk about today. How about you come back 2 weeks from today for the second meeting" Mr. Williams says.

"Ok. See in two weeks" I say.

We all say bye to each other. Then me and Bradley go outside to our car. We get in and he starts driving.

"Bradley, I'm scared" I say.

"How come?" He asks not taking his eyes off the road.

"What if Auggie and Ocean don't like us or we don't pass there little tests and we don't get them" I say.

"Sabrina there is nothing to be nervous about. The guy said today that they must really like us since they sat next to us and I think they think we are good people to get them, because they said it shouldn't take very long" He says. That made me feel a little bit better but not a lot.

"But what if we don't get them. I really want them" I say again.

"My parents have a friend that works with adoptions. Do you want me to ask him what the couple needs to adopt a kid?" He asks. That makes me feel a lot more better.

"Yes" I say.

"Ok. I'll call him tomorrow" Bradley says.
