I woke up the next morning without having to hear the annoying sound of an alarm clock. It's one of the best things about skipping. I pulled out my phone while I was still in bed. Hanna had texted me again. I was so tired I completely forgot to answer her other texts from last night.
Hanna: Haley, Where are you?
Hanna: Hello, earth to Haley!
Hanna: I'm worried! Where are you?!
Hanna: Haley answer me!
Hanna: Why aren't you at school?!
Me: Hanna a lot of stuff happened last night. I can't explain it right now. I'll be at school tomorrow. I promise. I'm okay.
Hanna: Thank god your okay. I gtg I'm about to get caught with my phone out in class.

I put my phone down on the night stand and got up out of bed. As soon as I got up Alfred walked in.
"Good morning mam, would you like some tea?" He asked as he was holding a tray with cups of tea.
"Yeah, I love tea!" I replied and grabbed a cup of the tray.
"I cleaned your clothes from last night so you can wear them again." He said.
"Thanks Alfred." I replied
"No problem mama, I'm just doing my job." He replied. "Would you like to join us in the kitchen for breakfast?"
"Sure" I replied.
Alfred showed me to the Kitchen. My dad was sitting at the end of the table reading the news paper. "How did you sleep?" Asked my father still staring at his news paper.
"Actually, it was the best I've slept in a long time." I replied
"That good. So I guess you'll be keeping that room then?" He asked.
"What do you mean?" I replied.
"Your going to stay here, aren't you?" He asked.
"I guess, I don't really know what's going on, but for now I'll stay." I replied.
"I'll tell you, but if I tell you, you have to stay." He said.
"Okay, tell me." I replied.
"Okay, here it goes. I met your mom while I was working on a case a while back. We hit it off and things happened. I didn't find out about you until a couple years ago. Since your mom and I broke up she's went downhill. She's psychotic. They call her Lady Arkham. She's killed innocent people and I have to stop her."
"So, what do you mean when you say you were working a case?" I asked.
"Let's just say I'm what some people called a hero and what other people can a villain." He replied. "I call myself Batman."
"That's what that costume was all about! It all makes sense now. My life is a mess isn't it?" I said.
"Well it runs in the family." He replied.
"Yep, now whose ready to go shopping?" Alfred said in his amazing British accent.
"I am!" I said laughing at the way Alfred talked.
"You two go have fun." My dad replied.
And we did.
