"So how was visiting Harley?" Jason asked me as we were sitting in my bedroom.

"I don't want to talk about this, or talk to you right now." I replied.

"What's wrong?" He asked as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"You got anything you wanna tell me Jason?" I asked.

"No..." He replied.

"So, you never planned on telling me my Mom is in Arkham asylum?" I asked angrily.

"Haley I'm s..." He started saying before I cut him off.

"Don't even start. You wouldn't of lied about it if you were sorry." I interrupted. "Why would you think it's okay?"

"I was just doing my job." He replied.

"For a second I thought that I had someone who understood me. I was a fool. Did you even think about me when you caught my Mom?" I said angrily.

"Haley I do care." He replied. "I never wanted it to end like this."

"You were just hoping I wouldn't find out about it." I said. "Just go. I can't even look at you. I can't  pretend everything is okay."

"I didn't want to put your Mom in Arkham. I know Viki is your Mom, but she's not a good person." Jason replied. "I'll leave if you really want me to, but I want you to know that putting your Mom in that asylum saved lives. We didn't want to put her there, but we had to before she hurt more people. We wanted to protect you."

I didn't know what to say. I was mad that they lied to me. I also felt like a jerk because they were just trying to protect me and I was yelling at Jason for it. Jason took his arm off me and got up.

"If you need someone to talk to I'm still here for you." He said before he started walking towards the window to leave.

"Jason. Wait. Don't go." I said as he approached the window. "I'm sorry."

"You don't need to be sorry." Those were the last words he said to me before he left.
