I decided to leave. I took $90,000 out of my Dad's bank account to go to Europe. I could've taken a lot more. All I cared about was getting out of Gotham. purchasing a fake ID and passport was easier than I thought it would be. I left on the day before Halloween. At 5:00 p.m. I got on a plane and headed for Europe.
Once the plane took off I texted Jason.
I'm leaving Gotham. Please, don't look for me. I just need to get away.... I'm sorry for everything.I listened to music and fell asleep for the first time in a while. I felt safe for the first time in a while. When I woke up it wasn't because of a nightmare. It was because the guy next to me woke me up.
"Jeeze your a heavy sleeper. By the way we've landed." Said the man.
"Thanks, for waking me up." I replied groggily.
"No problem." He said before getting up and walking off the plane. I followed behind him.
We landed in Frankfurt, Germany. I looked out the airport widow in awe. The city was beautiful. I'd never seen such beautiful architecture in my life. I was so glad to get out of Gotham. It was such a relief to leave.
I took a taxi to a hotel nearby. The hotel was huge. The taxi driver had told me it was one of the biggest ones in Frankfurt, but I wasn't expecting it to be that big. The lobby had a gigantic chandelier in it. The lady at the desk laughed at my reaction to the hotel. I checked out a room for a week. It was $2,500 for the week. I was hoping it would be a great week. If it did go well I would stay in Frankfurt and find an apartment.
