Alfred and I arrived at Wayne manor around 3:00. I had went on the biggest shopping spree ever. I bought so much edgy clothing to last a lifetime. When we got there my dad was gone.
"He's got a lot of stuff going on." Alfred told me. He could tell I was kinda upset.
"Yeah, we all do." I replied. "I just wish he could just stay around for at least one day."
"Well, I'm here for you, if that makes you feel better." He said trying to cheer me up.
"Thanks Alfred." I replied and smiled at him.
"I've got some cleaning to do if you don't mind. You can make yourself at home." He said.
"Okay, I'll be in my room." I said and we both started walking away.
I got to my room and started putting my clothes away. I grabbed my Phone and turned on some music. While I was putting my clothes away I got a phone call. I looked at my phone, it was Hanna. I answered it because I know she would be mad if I didn't.
"Hello" I said.
"Oh my god, I feel like I haven't heard your voice in forever!" She replied.
"It's only been a day."
"Yeah, well I was worried. I went to your house and you weren't there."
"Well, I have a lot to explain and I can't do it over the phone."
"What? Why not?"
"I'll come get you and tell you."
"Okay, see ya."
"Bye" I said before I ended the call.
I walked out to the kitchen and started looking for a pen and paper to write Alfred a note. After 5 minutes of digging I finally found some and wrote...
Dear, Alfred
I'm going to go hang out with my friend Hanna. I hope dad doesn't mind if I take one of his cars.
Love, HaleyI stuck the note on the fridge and I started looking around for the garage. After 10 minutes I finally found it. It was huge. It looked like a car dealership in there. The first thing that stood out to me was his black Impala. It was gorgeous. I walked towards it and opened the drivers door. It was unlocked and the keys were in the ignition. I hopped in and started the car. The sound of the engine starting was like heaven. I pulled out of the parking spot and drove up to the garage door. I searched the car for the garage opener. Sure enough it was there in the glove box. I opened it and I started driving off to Hanna's. I got there around 4:00 and she was standing in the drive way.
She hopped in the car and said. "So, are you going to show me your new place?"
"I don't know if my dad would appreciate that, but who cares." I replied.
"Your dad?" She said confused.
"Yeah, he exists." I replied.
"Tell me everything!!" She demanded.
And I told her every thing on the ride there. By the time I told her everything we were back at the manor.
"Wait, this is a joke right?" She asked as we pulled into the drive way.
"Why would I make this whole thing up? Do you think I'm a nutcase?" I replied angrily.
"No, it just doesn't seem real." She replied. I could tell in her voice that she was sorry.
"I'm sorry, I have slight anger issues. I think I know who I get it from now." I said. "Now let's go inside."
"Let's go!" Hanna said excitedly.
We walked up to the manor and I knocked on the door.
"Hello Haley, welcome back. Umm... Who's with you?" Alfred said as he answered the door.
"It's just my friend Hanna." I replied.
"Welcome Ms. Hanna." Alfred said with a smile on his face.
We walked into the house to find a unwanted surprise.
