It had been exactly three years since Sophie's death. I hadn't forgotten about Sophie. I still sobbed from time to time. As I got older, I started writing stories about her and if she was still alive. I would sit outside and listen to music then read or write stories. Writing stories made me feel as if I was in a different world, it made me happy.

My parents decided it was best for me to move to a different area in America so we all packed our stuff and dad drove us to our new house. After unpacking some items, about a week later, my mom decided it was time for me to attend to my new school, Elmore West high school. My cousin, Issac was in the same class as me so I talked to him at school and made a couple of friends. Issac was a popular, jock and had a lot of friends, mostly girls. He had a bright smile, brown hair and blue eyes. Issac loves playing sports: Football, tennis, basketball etc.. And he's very good at it. I'm totally different from Issac. I'm shy, I love playing games, reading and listening to upbeat music.

"Hey Kaleb, wait up!" A voice shouted. I turned around and saw the voice was Issac.

"What's up?" I responded.

"Dude, I met this hot chick today. She's so adorable!!" He shouted then I rolled my eyes and muttered to myself, "That's what you said yesterday." I continued walking down the halls to find my locker when suddenly he shouted,"DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ME!!" He looked at me with a angry face like he was about to punch me.
"Okay... okay. I am sorry alright."
I sighed. "What's her name?"

"It's Kendra, her face is just as beautiful as her name." He said with hearts in his eyes.

"Ding-a ling..A- ling!!" The bell rang.

"Okay Issac, well I got to go to class. See ya!" I said as I quickly ran into literature class.

As I entered class, I saw my friends chatting to each other. I sat down in my seat, exhausted, as if I had just ran a marathon and they all stared at me.

"Kaleb, why are you so sweaty," my best friend, Melanie said.

"Never mind that. I'm taking a nap. Wake me up when--" then the literature teacher came in.

"Damn it." I muttered to myself.

The day flew by so fast before I knew it, it was lunch time. I bought some lunch from the café and met my friends at the lunch table. Melanie, Sara and Jefferson (my friends) were all eating while on their phones when I saw a girl sitting by herself. She had wavey dark brown hair and smoky, brown eyes.

The girl had her guitar on the table and a notebook in front of her. It looked like she had written a song.

"What ya looking at!" A voice shouted causing me to jump off my seat. It was Jefferson.

"Oh you're looking at Kendra. Isn't she a beauty. I think she's new you should go talk to her." He continued. I listened to what he said so I got up and sat beside her.

"Hi!" I smiled.

"What do you want?" She questioned.

"Oh.. Well um.. I saw you alone so I thought you might--"

"Leave me alone!" She yelled then got up. I ran back to my table and finished eating quietly.

"How did Issac talk to her? She's pretty mean. He must have a lot of courage." I thought to myself.

Guys I will try my best to update soon. The more ideas I get the faster I can update the story. It would be hard for me to write stories because I have exams coming up. Thx for all your support guys...
