Chapter 19 - Jump

After strolling around for a while I decided I was going to give up. There's no way I'm finding any place to stay tonight so a park bench it is. It's so cold, I'm out in a tank top and jammy shorts. I'm terrified I shouldn't be out dressed like this but I didn't know what to do... So I just left.

Falling back on the bench I let out a sigh. What did I really do wrong? Yeah, sure I was pregnant and I didn't tell him but I have my reasons. I didn't want to mess things up between us. Yeah good job Charlotte !! I should've just told him. But I swear I remember throwing the test out when we made a pit stop, we all got out to have a walk about, Hayley Lilly and I went to the toilets, I took the test and threw it there. I didn't even take it in the bus I do not know how it got there... Unless. Shit what if Hayley really is pregnant?! No, no she'd tell me if she was.

Sighing I plugged my headphones in. Is this a good idea while I'm sitting on a park bench in the middle of nowhere? No, it really is not but I'm doing it anyway because I'm terrified and I need to hear Justin's voice. "Across the ocean, across the sea..." No, I can't do this, his voice is making me want to cry. Looking down at my phone I pressed shuffle hoping something non-Bieber would come on.

"Do you remember what he said? I do he told you he's never gonna hurt you ohh here we go again..." The music blasted into my ears and it was the most relaxing thing ever! Of course until I looked up to see a black car stopped in front of me. Ripping my ear phones out I got up and began to walk again... And the car followed. Pulling out my phone I called Ryan, I know Justin won't answer so I'm not going to try, but Ryan wasn't much help either. I guess nobody is answering my calls today.

I stopped as I lost the car letting out a sigh of relief. I looked around finding myself on a bridge over water, holding onto the rails I looked down onto the gentle flowing river.

"Jump" the voice in my head called out "no one cares Charlotte, what do you have left to live for? You don't have Kyle, you don't have Lucas, You don't have Justin, so what do you have?"

"Nothing" I whispered letting tears run down my cheeks

"So jump, no one cares. No one knows you're gone Charlotte they won't know if you're dead either" the voice soothingly convinced. Inhaling the sweet fresh air around me I turned around letting myself fall back but something stopped me, a tight grip around my wrist pulled me back up.

"I've been watching you from across the bridge I thought you were going to do this. I had to stop you" a deep voice spoke, I nervously opened my eyes looking into his deep blue ones.

"I- who are you?" I asked

"Adam" he spoke pulling me away "you're freezing sweetheart let me take you home"

"I um d-don't live here. I'm lost" I admitted

"Let me take you to mine then, I know you're scared but trust me please? I won't hurt you" he spoke in his cute Spanish accent, I closed my eyes and nodded.

"I didn't bring my car but I don't live far c'mon" he took my hand leading me down the road.

"Thank you" I weakly spoke following his lead "for pulling me up" I continued "I didn't want to jump, but something took over me"

"I'm just glad I saw you" he smiled back at me stopping outside a door digging a key out of his pocket as he unlocked the door and let me in

"Hold on, aren't you Bieber's girl?" He asked looking at me in the light

"That's me" I chuckled

"You're even more beautiful in person" he complimented tucking a strand of hair behind my ear "shouldn't you be on tour?"
