Three months later.
March.
Chris finished up his verse and hook on E-40's new hit song "episode" before walking off stage. He was exhausted from touring to ten cities in a month. He hadn't had time to do any others things whatsoever. This was his last stop, Santa Barbara, only a mile away from Zonnique. He didn't receive her letter from December last year and this is why;
Meghan had just finished her daily two hour workout at the gym. She went straight home and showered for forty five minutes. Once she was satisfied she stepped out then got dressed in something comfortable. Chris was still at the studio which meant Meg would be home alone for another hour or two. She wandered around their mansion of a home, bored as ever. She cooked something to eat to kill time. She sat at the kitchen island, eating her shrimp pasta salad and drinking a glass of water. Just inches away was a pile of mail that hadnt been gone through yet. Meghan finished up with her food and decided to go through the mail. Most of the mail contained bills, old birthday cards, and other things. Then one particular envelope caught her eyes. She saw Zonnique's name written in the left hand corner meaning she sent the letter. Inside Meg felt an ounce of jealousy for her. She didn't like the fact, Chris was still deeply in live with Zonnique; though he never owned up to it. Everyone knew. Meghan'a curiosity got the best of her and she wanted to know what was inside. She hesitantly opened the letter unfolding the lined paper. As she read, her eyebrows furrowed and she frowned. The thought of Zonnique and Chris together made her cringe. Meghan scoffed then tore the letter in half; throwing it in the trash. As she walked out the kitchen, she didn't notice that the two halves never made it inside trashcan...

"Can you believe we only have two more weeks here!" Cat exclaimed hopping on my bunk with me. Over time we've grown close, almost like sisters. She's down to earth and easy to get along with. The thought of leaving soon was bittersweet; I'd finally be home but where am I going to go? August offered to let me stay with him but I declined. I don't want him to get the wrong impression. Although I may love him, I couldn't be with Aug if I tried. We're better off as friends.
"Yeah.. have you found a place to stay?"
"Well I'm moving back to Toronto with my parents for awhile-"
"Canada!" I shouted with my eyes nearly popping out the sockets, "Cat I don't mean to sound selfish but what about me? You know you're the only friend I got honestly"
She sighed. "Bahja?"
"Tuh she doesn't talk to me anymore! Besides we've grown apart.."
It's true. Our conversations aren't even the same. I miss her being my bestfriend but that's over. "Well I'll visit you every month or so.."
"Yeah okay!" I replied nonchalantly blowing on my wet nails. I had painted them a mint green color about two minutes ago. Since a lot of us are leaving soon, we have tons of free time.
Cat continued to occasionally look at me before quickly looking away. She's been doing that lately and I'm confused. I tried ignoring it again but I just can't.
"What's your problem?"
"Huh?"
"You keep giving me weird looks bruh like seriously"
"I don't know what your talking about-"
"Bullshit! Just tell me what's up, you said we're friends right?" I asked before putting my nail polish in the pouch. She nervously played with her pony tail, avoiding eye contact with me.
