Chapter 30: Round 2

[Ciera's POV]

I'm 12 years old again. Swinging on my swing set in my back yard. My mom is pushing me, and I'm having the time of my life.

It's all fun and games until my dad pulls in. Every night him and mom drink a lot and they become violent.

No one could have seen it coming.

They usher me into my room and lock

me in for the night so that they can drink.

I open my laptop and go onto Youtube. A new video appears on the home page. "PewDiePie Plays Amnesia, Part 1".

I click on it, considering my parents wouldn't let me buy the actual game. I hear a man with a foreign accent, say "How's it goin bros? My name is Peeewdiepie"

I kept watching, and I fell in love without realizing it.

As the video ended, my dad slammed my door open, and his fist immediately hit my face. I fell as I watched him leave.

I laid on he floor, clutching my face and trying to catch a breath.

When my parents had fallen into a drunken sleep, I turned on more videos from the guy who called himself "Pewdiepie". I heard him scream at stupid things and yell at inanimate objects. I found myself laughing and smiling uncontrollably at all of the videos. First time in months.

I woke up in a cold sweat, to find myself in my newly acquired bedroom. It was just a dream.

I go into my bathroom and splash water on my face. I can hear Pewds recording a video from across the house. Sounds like he's playing The Last Of Us.

I get dressed and go into the dining room where Marzia is eating breakfast.

"Good morning sunshine"

"Good morning, do you guys have plans today?"

"Yea, Felix and I have meet and greets. We were planning to take you and let you walk around while we're at our booths. We'll tell our audience about you after vidcon."

I agreed, "sounds fun, how long till we're leaving?"

"Well Felix is recording and he has to upload a video, so I would say around an hour."

"Okay mom, see you in a bit."

I ran upstairs to get ready.

[Felix's POV]

The whole family hopped into the car and we drive to Vidcon. We got there early, and we let Ciera out first.

"Meet us back here at 3, okay?"

She smiled "okay, have fun guys"

She scurried off into the direction of Shane Dawson's booth.

This year, the convention put Marzia and I next to each other for our signings. I was glad we didn't have to split up.

So many brozipans showed up and gave us presents, about the same stuff as last year.

After all of our signings, we fled from the convention and found Ciera where we asked her to be. We got into the car and headed home, talking about our own experiences.

Ciera told us that she got dozens of signatures from youtubers that she watched. Also a bunch of selfies, which were really creative for the most part.

When we arrived home, Marzia and I laid all of our gifts out on the table. We let Ciera have the candy, since she enjoys it more than we do.

I saved the letters, cards and pictures that the bros gave me and put them in frames in my gaming room. I had just started hanging stuff.

When I was hanging the ones received today, Ciera came into my gaming room for the first time.

"Hey dad, whatcha doing?"

"Just hanging up notes, bros are really sweet and deep."

"Well, that's our generation for ya."

She noticed her note from last year was hung up.

"Awe, you kept that?"

"Of course I did. I cried over it so much, that my hospital bed was soaked"

She smiled, and gave me a hug. I ruffled her hair and sent her to help Marzia with dinner.

After the dinner of spaghetti, Marzia went to film a DIY video and Ciera played Xbox with me. She was one of the best Call Of Duty players I've ever seen. She won against me by a long shot.

Marzia came into the gaming room.

"Hey babe, is it okay if Kalel and Anthony come over for dinner tomorrow?"

"Sure"

I saw Ciera's face light up.

"Yay! I love them so much!"

"Okay well, they'll be here tomorrow at 6, I'm going to go to bed and edit, goodnight."

I stood up. "I'll probably join you, Vidocon is tiring."

Ciera gave us both hugs and went downstairs to her bedroom.

I followed Marzia into our bedroom. I kissed her, then her belly and snuggled in for the night. I fell asleep without a worry in the world. The 2 girls I care most about are with me and support me, no matter what I do. I'll love them forever.
