Chapter 3: The Amusement Park

After unpacking and having dinner, Felix and Marzia got into their pajamas and sat in front of the TV. They watched random Italian shows that were on at 9 o' clock, and ate popcorn. They talked about everything, just like they did on Skype. After about 2 hours of watching pointless programming, the two decided to go to bed. After brushing their teeth, they settled down into their beds.

About fifteen minutes of rolling around and not being able to sleep Felix laid awake. He looked at Marzia, who was sound asleep. Man, I'm the luckiest guy alive thought Felix. She's so beautiful.

Felix awoke with Marzia lightly tapping his shoulder. "Felix get up!" Marzia said with excitement. "We are going to the amusement park!" Felix groaned as he sat up and wiped his eyes of his tiredness. "Okay" he grunted. Felix went into the bathroom to change his clothes. He put on a nice red button up with tan skinny jeans. He threw his phone into his pocket and left the bathroom.

Marzia was doing her hair at the vanity in her room. He stepped out slowly and snuck up behind her. "Boo!" Marzia jumped, turned around and smacked Felix's arm playfully. "Felix you scared the crap out if me, not funny!" Felix smiled and laughed "I thought it was".

"Felix, we are leaving in 10 minutes, be ready." "

I am ready girl" said Felix as he slipped the gold and white box into his pocket.

When Marzia was finished, she grabbed her car keys and took Felix into her car. On the way to the amusement park, they sang pop music and belted out laughing.

When Felix and Marzia got there, they both bought some tickets and got in line for some rides. On the Farris Wheel Felix and Marzia sat together. As they went up, Felix's hand slowly inched towards hers. At the top of the Farris Wheel, Felix took a gamble and grabbed her hand. She embraced it and gave Felix and cute smile. Felix blushed, but still kept her hand close to his.

The two went on many rides after and even stayed for the fireworks. They laid a towel down and sat on it. They watched the fireworks in awe as the fireworks bursted in colorful patterns.

As the fireworks ended, people started to clear out, until it was just the two of them on the hill. Felix turned to Marzia as he pulled the box from his pocket. "Marzia I got you a little something, it isn't much, but I hope you like it" Marzia looked at the box in surprise. She took it from his hands and opened it. "Felix, this is... amazing, you shouldn't have". Felix smiled "it was my pleasure, a beautiful necklace for a beautiful girl"

Marzia blushed as Felix cupped her face with his hand. Slowly, Felix moved in for the kiss. The kiss was magical, and passionate. It's almost like their lips were meant to be together. Felix drew back and stared into her eyes. Happiness shined and he too smiled.

That night when they arrived home, they crashed on their beds. Felix was almost asleep when he heard Marzia say "you know you're a really good kisser". Felix smiled and whispered "so are you".

He drifted off to sleep. The butterflies were there no longer. Instead his heart was filled with joy and happiness.
