"Traitor?" I gasped in surprise.
"Yeah. Evadin somehow knew all our secrets and plans and know we understand why. It was my brother," he explained, his hands bunching up into fists.
"Ace is your brother?' I asked. Jett just nodded and kept silent.
"What are we going to do with Athena?" I question trying to keep him from punching the wall. My eyes focused on the hall as I felt the tears start again.
"Move her from the hall and then bury her but only you, Andrew, Alijah and I will attend," Jett said walking out to hall and grabbing Athena. He waved before disappearing in a flash. I sighed and collapsed on the bed forcing the tears to not fall.
After a day had passed Jett announced it was time for Athena's funeral. It was to be held in the depths of the woods. After replaced my light dress for a long black one with red gems located all over the dress I headed out, with Jett at myside, to the woods.
Once we had arrived I took in all the surroundings. A small golden casket layed in the middle of thousands of fake flowers. Snow had been falling earlier causing little bits of snow to lay over everything. I took in a sharp breath as my eyes rested on Athena. Tears began to brim my eyes as I gasped in her beauty. She had a deep red velvet dress that covered her from shoulder to toe. Her arms rested in a cross over her shoulders with her eyes closed. Her beauty left me breathless and it pained my heart knowing that she died so young. I clutched onto Jett's arm trying not to bawl. My eyes focused on a tree out in the middle of the woods as the ceremony began.
After the funeral had finished the four us proceeded to the castle as her coffin was lowered into the cold, dark ground. Jett noticed my distress and stroked my hair gently.
"Are you okay?" He calmly asked.
"If only this pain died too," I growled feeling an emptiness inside my heart grow.
"I've known Athena since she was 10, trust me the I'm hurting as much as you", He commented pulling his hand away. I grabbed his hand and have it a squeeze.
"We have to destroy Ace for all the pain and suffering he put us through," Jett announced.
"I don't care, just promise you won't get taken away again," I said stopping. Jett nodded and wrapped his arms around me, resting his chin on my head.
"I promise,"
