Azure groaned quietly as he stirred in his sleep. He felt warm, safe, and extremely well rested. And yet he didn't want to get up, his half asleep mind motored his body towards the source of warmth he felt.
The witch laid there for a bit, it smelt familiar. Azure frowned slightly and opened his eyes to be met with a bleary picture of a pale yellow sleep shirt. He made a noise and scrambled backwards to be met with the sleeping form of the prince next to him. Azure took a second to process it but once he did, his blue eyes widened and he scrambled back and out of the bed. He landed on the floor with a loud thump which stirred the prince slightly but didn't wake him up. Instead the hybrid rolled over and went back to sleep.
Azure sat up rubbing the back of his head as he tried to think about what happened last night. He couldn't remember, which made him panic more. Why the hell would the prince be in his bed sleeping with him. Azure's mind drifted to places it shouldn't and his face erupted into a dark blush as he had a silent freak out down on the floor. The queen would have his head if she found out. He'd be one dead son of a bitch and he knew it, he just knew it. Why would the prince even want to something like that with him, that is to say if they had done anything. The witch let out a soft whine and hugged his knees. He sat like that, rocking back and forth for a bit before he heard a sound from his bed. He dared to peek over the edge as he looked at the prince's sleeping face. It was slack, his mouth was open slightly and his black hair was messy and fluffed up.
The witch blushed a little and gazed at the other before he caught himself and stood up.
He had a meeting today, he knew it. He would have to get ready.
So, as quiet as he could, Azure grabbed a pair of pants and belt. He managed to slip those on without stirring the prince. The witch let out a heavy breath and knew he would have to put on his shirt next. So he quietly crept over to the closet he had. The wooden floors creaked and Azure froze when he heard the prince shift. After waiting for a bit he made it over. He grabbed one of his uniform shirts and huffed quietly, the witch slowly slipped off his sleep shirt and put it in a basket to wash later. He hummed gently before his entire tensed up and froze as he heard a deep and raspy sleep.
"Nice tattoo." The voice said, which it belonged to Terry who had a smirk on his face and sitting up.
It was true, Azure did have a tattoo. It had hurt like hell to get it but the witch did enjoy it a lot. It was a tattoo of a skeletal rib cage across the expanse of his actual ribs. They had blue roses weaving between the sketched bones.
"Turn around, I wanna see it. I can only see the side." Terry said and continued to stare at Azure who was frozen in his spot.
"T-turn around?" Azure voiced quietly, a crack in his deep baritone voice causing Terry to chuckle.
"Yeah." The prince said and rested his chin in his hand.
Azure swallowed thickly and slowly turned around, though he held his shirt in front of his bare chest so the other couldn't see.
"Lower the shirt." Terry said and raised an eyebrow at Azure who blushed heavily.
Azure didn't move, instead he stared at his feet.
"Azure." Terry said, though his voice had hardened and turned commanding.
The reaction was almost instant, Azure moved the shirt away and stood their on full display for the prince to see. Terry stared for a minute before motioning the witch over.
Azure obeyed and walked over.
"When did you have this done?" Terry asked quietly and reached out his hand but looked up at Azure who nodded slightly but his face turned a deeper red.
The prince's warm hand traced over the lines of one of the lower ribs. Azure stared straight ahead and tried to calm his breathing, "A-about a f-few years a-ago sire." He choked out and tried not to gasp as the prince's hand trailed down to the last rib of the ink rib cage.
"I didn't hear about it." The dark prince mumbled quietly and pulled his hand away.
"I-I haven't t-told a-anyone a-about it your h-highness." Azure whispered almost too quietly as his hands balled into fists and then unclenched at his sides.
"Hmm." Terry said aloud and looked up at Azure's face. He chuckled and then stood up, he brushed past the witch and then left the room.
Azure stood there and let out soft squeak and hurriedly put on his shirt. The witch then hastily pulled on his boots, cloak and hat. Terry handed him a donut on the way out the door. The witch then snapped his fingers and disappeared into a puff of blue smoke leaving the prince to sigh and look around the empty house.

The meeting was boring as fuck, the queen had gotten on Azure about not starting the procedures to try and find Terry's bride. The witch sighed as he appeared at the door of his home and opened it. He found Terry lounging on the couch with Merci purring and kneading his chest with her paws.
"Welcome home. How was the meeting?" The prince asked almost too gently.
"Boring. But you're gonna have to get up, we have work to do." Azure said and put down a stack of paper work on the table.
"Work?" Terry asked and got up, he put the cat on the couch and walked over to the witch and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Yes work. Go to my potion room and sit down at the table please." He said and Terry nodded.
After a bit of prep, the blue themed witch sat down at a table with a crystal ball on it. Terry sat across from him and was looking around in wonder at the place. Azure laughed on the inside before clearing his voice to catch the prince's attention.
"Give me your hands." Azure said and held out his gloved ones for Terry to take hold of.
The prince obeyed and put his hands in Azure's, the soft silk of the gloves felt nice and cool on his usually warm hands.
The candles that usually lit the room, suddenly flickered out and the room turned pitch black.
"Close your eyes." Azure's voice said gently and Terry did so.
"Breathe, let yourself be calm. See in your minds eye, someone who meets all your standards." Azure commanded in a soft voice.
Terry hummed as he thought up the picture, they were shorter than him, kind and enjoyable to be around. But a white cloud of mist seemed to hide their face. They wore a worn hoodie, with grey sweat pants and black converse shoes. Their voice was too quiet for him to hear, the prince frowned and tried to speak to them but nothing happened. Instead the person laughed gently and told him that he was crazy.
The prince felt his heart warm at the words as he felt their hand on his. It felt nice, it felt comfortable and safe. He felt himself being lulled, everything seemed so perfect. The prince shifted slightly in the vision and the person standing there said that they loved him. Terry felt himself replying the same, and then a hug. They smelt familiar, almost like..
Suddenly the vision stopped and a loud boom was heard. The hybrid' eyes snapped open just in time for the crystal ball to explode right then and there. The prince shielded his face as glass shards scattered everywhere.
He found himself also scrambling to see if Azure was alright, the witch had been knocked over by the blow and was laying, still in his chair on the floor.
"Azure?! Are you alright?" The prince asked and helped the witch up who chuckled and nodded.
"Yeah I'm okay. Nothing like having your crystal ball blow up." The witch said and held his head which was spinning.
"That's funny." Terry said and laughed a little, "Man you're a real comic sometimes." He said and brushed away a leaf in Azure's hair.
"Is that so? Well might as well call me Comic." The witch joked and looked up and stared at the prince who was staring down at him.
"Uh are you okay?" Azure asked nervously but was met with his shoulder being shook by a now ecstatic prince.
"That's genius! I'll call you Comic! That's your new nickname!" The prince said and easily picked up the other and held him up in the air.
Azure squeaked and blushed heavily as he stared down at the prince who smiled widely up at him.
"Comic...?" He asked and Terry nodded.
"Comic!" The prince said.
"Comic." Azure said and smiled gently.
Suddenly, the witch was lowered and was pressed up against the prince. He stared up at the other who was staring down at him. Their eyes locked for a moment, blue staring into a demon like orange and red. And yet, Comic found no evil in them. Only kindness and generosity. The prince was not demon despite his blood, not mean or crude despite what he had over heard from some princesses.
Maybe that's why he now found himself kissing the prince, he didn't even know how they had gotten into this position. Had he initiated it or had Terry? It didn't really matter at the moment to Comic's fuzzy mind. Alls that mattered was that he was currently pressed against a wall, now fully on making out with the prince.
Yep. That's all that mattered to him at the moment.
