Penny's POV

I woke up and turned on my phone. The screen read 3:34am and to my surprise I had 3 new messages from Ariana.

Ariana: PENNY I'M ADOPTING YOU TODAY

12:03am
Ariana: AHHHH I'M SO EXCITEDDDD I CAN'T SLEEP

12:04am
Ariana: I'M GONNA TRY AND SLEEP BUT HOLY SHIT I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M ADOPTING YOU TODAY. OKAY GOODNIGHT ILY♡
A smile crept across my lips as I replied instantly.

Penny: omg ikr😭 I'll see u soon! ily2♡

I turned my phone back off and placed it on my night stand. I shut my eyes thinking I could fall back asleep but so much was going through my mind. I'm finally going to have a loving normal family! Well famous normal I guess.

I layed in bed too excited to go back to sleep. I decided to get up and start packing while I had the time. I got down on my knees to pull my suitcase out from under my bed and when I opened it, it was full of cob webs.

"Has it really been that long?" I whispered to myself.

Quitely I tried to pack my things but than I heard a small voice call out softly from behind me.

"Penny? What are you doing?"

It was Ava.

"Shhhhh I'm packing my suitcase because I'm getting adopted today!"

"Is it the same family that's adopting me?"

Ava's eyes glistened with hope as the moonlight shone down on her, only to break away that smile with disappointment as I shook my head.

"No Ava, but wouldn't it be awesome if it was?"

"I guess so. So who is adopting you?"

"Ariana Grande"

"Who's that?"

"Remember when we used to watch Sam & Cat?"

"Yes that was our special show!" Ava giggled.

"Well the girl who plays Cat she's adopting me"

I saw Ava's mouth drop open and quickly ran over to her to stop her from making any loud noises.

"Shhhh"

"Sorry Penny but I'm so happy for you!"

I hugged Ava and put her back into bed and kissed her on her forehead.

"See you in the morning"

I headed back to my own bed and decided to set an alarm for 6am so I could finish packing and be ready.
