Penny's POV

Ariana giggled awkwardly and turned her head opposite me. She looked down and started fiddling with her hands than I noticed a tear slide down her cheek.

"Ari?"

"Excuse me" Ariana got up whilst wiping her tears away and went upstairs.

I felt so awkward and out of place. I decided to get out my phone and go through Ariana's ig. Most of them were just selfies and photos of her dogs, no jai or any mention of him. I turned my phone off and put it in my lap. I turned around to see if I could see Ari coming back down the stairs or something but was surprised when I saw Joan sliding open the back door.

"Hey" she half whispered. I honestly loved Joan to bits but for some reason I felt really uncomfortable.

"Hey Joan"

"About Ariana...." Joan trailed off and started fiddling with the edge of her shirt.

"What's up with her and Jai?"

"Well you see sweetie I know Ariana won't admit is but her and Jai are in love and she found out a couple days ago that he is moving back to Australia"

I began to understand why she had been so secretive and upset every time I mentioned his name.

"I understand...Should I go up to Ari and see if she's okay?"

"I think she would love that"

Joan gave me a quick hug before I went back inside. I walked up the stairs and tried my best to remember which room was Ariana's. All the doors were closed and honestly I had forgot. I heard a chuckle and turned around.

"It's the second door on the left haha" Frankie explained.

I slowly turned the door knob and walked in. I looked around but didn't seem to see Ari anywhere in my sight.
