Penny's POV

It was finally time. Ariana was coming soon and I was packed and ready to go. I heard Ava's named been called by one of the carers.

"Ava! Your new parents are here!"

Ava raced into my room and gave me a big hug and we said our goodbyes. It was emotional but Ava had to continue downstairs. I watched through the window at how happy she looked with her new family. I was happy for her.

My heart pounded against my chest as I saw another car pull into the driveway. My phone made a noise and I received a text.

I saw a petite brunette get out of the car and I instantly knew it was Ariana. Her hair was gorgeous and I saw her smile as she walked in.

I raced downstairs and there she was. Standing a few meters away from me was the international pop star Ariana Grande. It took us both a minute to realise this was real.

Ariana's POV

I walked into the orphanage and smiled to myself as I thought about how Penny & I are going to be bestfriends. I walked up to the front desk when I was startled by footsteps hurrying down the stairs. It was Penny. I stared at how pretty she was.

After we both sank in the realisation this was real we ran up to each other and I picked her up and swung her around.

"PENNY!!!!"

"ARIANA!!!!"

I put her down and we both giggled. Penny looked like she was about to cry but she was probably just over excited.

"Ma'am may I help you?" One of the ladies at the front desk asked.

"Yes actually, I'm here to adopt Penny!"

The ladies nodded and gave me a sheet of legal stuff to fill out. I quickly filled it out and handed it back to the ladies.

"Thank you Miss Grande is it? Penny is now yours!"

Penny ran back over to me and we hugged again.

"Go get your stuff and than we can leave!"

Penny raced upstairs and within a few seconds she was back with her suitcase. We walked to the car and put her suitcase in the back.

"Ariana I can't believe this is happening"

"Me neither boo. There's another surprise in the car!"

Penny opened the door and I heard Frankie scream.

"PENNYYYY WE'VE HEARD SO MUCH ABOUT YOU!"

Penny hugged Frankie and my mum and the car started to drive back to our hotel.
