Penny's POV

I woke up to Ariana talking in her sleep. She kept saying 'Jai please don't go! Oh please don't go Jai!'.
I giggled to myself as I wondered if Jai was her mysterious boyfriend. My phone buzzed and I turned on the screen to see an unusual notification.

Penny has been added to the chat!

Brian: hi Pennyyyy

Scott: Brian wtf how did u add penny?

Brian: remember that time Ariana had to sync her contacts with mine so when she got a new phone she didn't loose them? Well she never disconnected it so every new contact she adds i get it as well

Scott: .....

Penny: hi boys!!!

Brian: ayeeeeee

Penny: is this a gc?

Scott: obviously

Brian: scott why are u being so salty today? 

Scott: bc u forgot to pick up our costumes for the tour yesterday!

Brian: oh shit I forgot, sorry i'll get them today

Penny: so ari tells me that u guys are teaching me the choreography to the routins!

Brian & Scott: yeppp!

Penny: awesome! Btw do u guys know a jai? Ariana wouldn't stop saying his name in her sleep before

Brian: ahhhhh

Penny: well??

No one replied or even read my message after that. I sighed and got up to go take a shower, for once in my life I would have hot water that lasts longer than 2 minutes.

After my relaxing shower I got dressed into a white high waisted skirt with a matching crop top. I quickly did my hair and just as I finished Ariana woke up.

"What time is it?"

"Um almost 8:30"

She turned over and got up out of bed still looking perfect with not a hair out of place. She opened her arms motioning for me to give her a hug. I ran over and endulged myself into her warm arms that hugged my body lovingly. She took a step back.

"Girl!! Look at you! Already slaying my fashion"

My cheeks blushed a little but I smiled.

"Let me go get ready and than we're leaving to go back to L.A"

"Kk!"

Ariana continued to the bathroom and I packed up my things. Ari and I had taken some selfies last night and I was scrolling through them. I decided to upload one to ig, we were both holding each others hands and smiling at each other. I captioned it; 'my forever best friend♡'. I tagged ariana and clicked the post button.

Within seconds I was getting hundreds of likes and comments.

'Who is she?'

'Best friend, umm ariana please explain'

'Nawww so cute!'

I turned off my phone and continued to pack my stuff. Joan walked in.

"Hey sweetie has Ariana told you were leaving today?"

"Yep! I'm just starting to pack now"

"Okay great! Do you want me to help you at all?"

"Yeah you can if you want, I don't mind"

Joan walked to where I was sitting on the bed and started taking my clothes out of the wardrobe and folding them.

"You know Ariana is very lucky she got you. I mean it's what she needs, a best friend by her side. Someone that's with her through everything! I can only ever wish I had someone like that when I was her age."

"Aw thank you Joan!"

"You're a very pretty girl, don't let any boys take you for granted"

"I won't haha"

I chuckled at how much Joan was acting like a mum towards me. I loved it. It's something I lacked in my life.
