11 Frozen Heart

POV Elsa

A boy as pale as snow was kneeling in front of me. His eyes were beautiful blue even though he seemed to be sad. His messy hair and the small grinn looked familiar. Then I remembered. “ Jack? What happened to you? Why didn’t you come?” I cried and suddenly hugged him. His reaction was surprised but he placed his left hand around my waist.

Jack looked miserable when I glanced his face to see what was wrong with him “ Elsa, I’m sorry. We had to fight with Pitch for long time." The grin slowly faded away now.

I shrug my shoulder's and felt little annoyed. Why he deserves to be only one that I should be sorry for. He isn't the only one who has had troubles! “Jack. I know about Pitch, he threatened us while you were away.” My words came out of my mouth like stabbing swords.

His reaction was something that I didn't expect. I meant it to hurt him so he would feel quilty for leaving me and make him explain why he abandoned me. “ It was him who tried to hurt you and your family? When everything went bad in Arendelle.” Jack looked furious. He sighed and stated that he was happy for everyone to be safe around here. He seemed to be weak somehow.

I carefully touched his face. “ You are feeling so cold Jack. What’s wrong?”

POV Jack

Elsa felt so nice and warm. Her hand was holding my cheek and I closed my eyes. It was something I enjoyed feeling really much. Her warm hand touching me and giving me comfort without knowing it.

My shoulder's dropped and I sighed. “I’m sorry that I didn’t tell you. When I became guardian my heart would eventually turn to ice and freeze me for eternity. Manny didn't mean it to happen..but.. The time for me to be gone is close now. “

Elsa seemed shocked. “ That same thing was going to happen to Anna too. I accidentally shot her with ice. Her heart was freezing and I was afraid to loose her. I didn't want to lose her and I don't now want to loose you! ” Her words made me feel even worse.

I put my hand over her cheek and I asked her something that made me feel really selfish. “ It is ok. C-Could I spend my last moments with you? You understand me and now I feel as vulnerable as a human would feel.”

POV Elsa

Jack is shivering and he is so cold. He needs a warm place quick. My eyes were glancing over the snowy mountain to look for shelter.

Maybe I can fix this somehow. This doesn't need to end this way. My eyes wander back to Jack who is breathing heavily and still kneeling on the ground. He was looking at the ground and I felt sorry for him. “Let’s go inside and of course I will be with you, my dear friend” I warmly said to Jack. He smiled faintly.

His arm was now over my shoulder and I saw that his eyes went shut from time to time while I tried to take him to shelter. He was there for me as I grew up, he tried to help me to control my powers. We are good friends.

His scent was fresh like early morning at fall when the frost has started to form on the trees. I had missed him, his laughter and joy. Now I have my friend back but I might loose him. My dear friend. He made a moan that sounded like he was in pain. Suddenly I realized that actually I wanted more of him than his friendship. I wanted… “ I love you Elsa” Jack laughed warmly and smiled little. He had noticed me staring at him and I almost tropped him because I was surprised. We were almost  inside the ice castle I once made.  

I looked into his eyes which had almost lost the sparkle that there once were. “Please Jack, tell me that you love me after we fix this.”

Jack laughed “You’re so eager to help as…” Then he seemed to have pain strikes twice. I looked at him and hoped he wouldn’t die.

“Don’t worry.. Three times is the charm, then I’m gone. I have few hours left.” Jack looked to my eyes and my tiers were falling  when I placed him on the bed. We managed to get to bedroom but it took great effort from both of us.

“ I will make you warm Jack” With shaking hands I opened his hoodie, he tried to stop me.

“Elsa, you don’t have to. It is no use.” Jack smiled.

“But I need to do it.”  I snapped my fingers and the dress disappeared. Jack saw me and blushed and blushed even more when I placed my body against his cold body. " At least I need to try Jack!"

“Well, I surely am getting warmer queen” he started laughing because he knew that I hated to be called queen by him. Then the pain struck on him first time but the second pain wave didn’t come because I found myself kissing him. He relaxed during our first kiss and the pain didn't reach him.

He relaxed and then things went out of control. I couldn’t resist his charm anymore.

POV Jack

Wow. I couldn’t believe what happened last night. She fell asleep afterwards and I tried my best to not to wake her up because of my pain strokes.

I hope she will get over me sometime and have a family that I will never be able to give her. Now I couldn’t even try to be her family because of this unfair situation. My existence is coming to an end.

I watched her sleeping calmly. I smiled and started touching her hair.

POV Elsa

Next morning he was still there. Looking at me and smiling. His hand was playing with my hair. “ I will always love you Elsa” he said.

Then I was shocked to see that his body ached with pain twice and after the third pain wave hit he was still trying to comfort me and smile.

“No, no.. Jack, don’t go. I need you!” No answer.. What will I do? Soon his eyes were not wathing back at mine. Then I used my last effort “ Jack, Jack.. Come back. I love you, I love you for eternity!” I kissed him.

What? He started to feel warmer? He is kissing me back? Why are we in the air above my bed? Oh what the heck.. I stopped thinking and kissed him more and more.

Then he stopped our kissing and started laughing. “What?  Is this game to you?” I asked him.

“No but you asked me to tell you that I love you after we would find a way to fix me.. Well I love you also for all eternity my love” He bowed to me and my cheeks were burning up.
