POV Jack

Some frost here and there. My staff scratches the brick wall and frost forms on it. It has been over a year, year and three months to precise since Jackson was born last year at the end of September. We were so lucky that Anna promised to take care of them both while we are away. Yes, both. Anna has now a daughter who was born in the end of May.

So the Kingdom of Arendelle has now a Princess named Sofia and a Prince called Jackson, my and Elsa’s son. My work in this part of the world is ready now, right after I have frozen one more lake. Lately I have been busy to create winter, mainly because it is that time of the year. It is winter.

The wind that I called lifted me up and I start to fly slowly because I am still checking the streets. It was the middle of the a night and soon I saw a couple fighting. Something about the man being a jerk and how he never does the dishes. Wow, am I glad that Elsa isn’t like that. Well most of the time anyway. As I flew past them I made the man slip on a little icy part of the street – don’t know how that happened. Just kidding but they forgot their argument and started laughing. Much better that way!

Even though Anna was taking care of Jackson with Kristoff I wanted so bad to get back home to Arendelle. My family was dear to me. One of the best things was when I managed to have the babies laugh to my stunts. Yeah, Sofia sees me too because she is still a child and hopefully she will always believe in guardians.

Soon I passed the mountain side which always tells me that I’m close to Arendelle. Laughter from joy rushed from inside of me. Just been a few hours apart from my loved ones and already I felt  this excited. That feeling was always so crazy.

When I landed to Anna's and Kristoff's balcony it was already early morning. Slowly I pushed the doors open and quickly closed them behind me so they wouldn’t freeze since it was January and the weather was a bit chilly.

Anna woke up even though I tried to move like a mouse, silent and hastily. “Hi, Jack.. Everything went fine last night. No new emotions… Elsa is still at work.” Then she yawned and rolled to her other side on bed. She was already sleeping again.

Baby Jackie was now a toddler and already giggling when he saw me. Gently I lifted him on my lap and we left to my and Elsa’s bedroom. Jackie made some snowflakes which made me laugh a little. Everything seemed so interesting to him. He looked at me so eagerly with his eyes which were brown like mine were before I became what I am today.

As we were in our bedroom I placed Jackie on our bed and went to lay next to him. This is one of our traditions when mommy isn’t already home. We just look at each other and sometimes I make some frost animals dance in the air. He really likes that. He likes everything that involves snow and ice.

His personality somehow reminds me of his mum. The way his powers work. He needs to learn to deal with his emotions and that is the key to control the powers he and Elsa have. When the emotion he is going through is new..well.. then you better be me or Elsa and if you’re not you should run. His powers are magnificent but when he experiences new stuff the powers can get a little bit out of control.

When he got scared for the first time ever the whole room went to solid ice. It was like an explosion of cold rushed from our precious baby Jackie, the walls had ice spikes pushing from them. Fortunately only I and Elsa were at the room at that moment. Still we don’t know what he was so afraid of then but now he knows that mommy and daddy won’t let anything bad happen to him so that emotion hasn’t caused any problems. He will learn to control his powers and emotions, I’m sure of it. He won’t be locked away like my precious wife was all those years ago because she was so afraid of herself.
