POV Emma

Jonathan is still sleeping, he keeps on complaining about how cold my room is in the ice castle. He is telling me that our baby would catch a cold if she or he would live in here. I chuckle when I see Jonathan burying himself under the four blankets. Cold has never bothered me even though I love warmth more.

I kiss Jonathan’s cheek just before when I go to dress myself. I sigh when I look at my clothes pile, there isn’t much that would fit me now, my belly is already gotten rounder. I touch my stomach, there is just 6 months left for our son to be born. I knew him from early on the pregnancy, it is part of my gift. I am the guardian of life so the beginning of new life never gets unnoticed by me.

My mother is lucky since she could do dresses from ice that would fit perfectly. Once I tried to create a dress using vines and leaves that I made grew over me. It looked so bad so I have never done it again. “Morning,” I hear Jonathan yawning on the bed. “For being the Father Time you sure slept late today,” I laugh and tease him. He is staring at me with sleepy eyes, “Yeah. Maybe my uncle is Sandy?” We look at each other for a while, being serious. Then we lost it and both of us started laughing at the same time.

Jonathan was the person who I met when darkness almost got me. Our friendship turned into love eventually and it is a miracle that I am expecting a child, normally Guardians won’t be parents. Well, in fact he isn’t a guardian but I have been for quite some time already. He comes to embrace me and I hug him back, “I hope that my two most precious people in the world are doing perfectly?” He whispers to my ear and causes me to laugh. “We are.. Hey, I will visit Jackie today. Mother has been worried about him,” I say and kiss his cheek. “Sure,” he kisses my cheek in return.

After making vegetarian breakfast for us both I left to Arendelle with a help of a snow globe. I walked on the corridors that I remember from my childhood. The castle of Arendelle hasn’t changed a bit. Now I turned to the wing where Jackie’s room is and I heard someone banging a door. “Open up!” I see uncle Kristoff banging Jackie’s door. “Uncle! What is going on?” I walk fast to him.

Kristoff seems worried, “For few days he has acted weird. Like there wasn’t any sign of happiness in him.” Kristoff sighed and looked at me, “Maybe you can speak with him? This morning he didn’t come to breakfast.” I touch the door quickly, it feels freezing cold. I try to smile my most calming smile to Kristoff, “Let me handle it but just in case you could go and get Belle,” I hand Kristoff a snow globe. “Break it and tell that it would take you to her and here is a spare one for your return,” I hand him the snow globes and he breaks one. He nods me and steps to portal. Kristoff might be old but he would do everything for the ones close to him.

I knock the door, “Open up Jackie. I know that you’re in there..” My voice is getting higher when I see that smoke is coming under the door. It is the reaction when cold air meets warmer air and makes fog. “Jackie, calm down,” I said tightly and I see frost covering the door fast. He is losing it, this emotion of his must be strong one this time. He had seizures like this when he was a child, when he experienced something highly emotional and new to him. However the scale of this one is something new.

“JACKIE,” I yell but no one responses. I try to open the door, push it in. No use. I throw some seeds to ground and I make them grow, they go under the door but can’t get through. It seems that the door is covered in thick layer of ice on the other side.

“Emma?” Belle says as she steps through the portal. Kristoff follows right after her, “He didn’t listen to you either?” Kristoff is now even more concerned. “Uncle, we will handle it,” I say to Kristoff who seems reluctant to leave. Belle pulls him away, “It is sibling thing. We will take care of it.” Belle giggles and Kristoff finally left.
