POV Jack

After the birth of Emma Jackson was a proud big brother. Well, for some time to be exact. Then he realized that Emma needed lots of Elsa’s attention. Somehow his jealousy is fun to watch when he hangs from Elsa’s dress and pleads her to watch every single one thing he does. Like when he picks a toy to play or when he eats a vegetable. At first Elsa laughed to his behaving but now she is getting annoyed since feeding a one year old is hard when someone is graving your attention.

“Jackie Frost!” I startled when Elsa finally snapped to Jackie’s behavior. She raised her voice for first time. Elsa’s expression was tight, ”Let me finish feeding Emma and then I will come. “ She smiled but it was too late. I saw Jackie’s eyes watering and then he was breathing heavily. His frustration came disappointment. A new feeling.

“Elsa, take Emma and go to other room,” I stated when I went in front of Elsa and Emma. Elsa picked Emma to her arms and they went off. Room was already freezing, this happens when his emotions take control. “Hey fellow, cheer up,” I rubbed his shoulder. “Mommy is just busy with the baby, you can show daddy what you wanted?” I smiled but Jackie was sobbing.

“Mommy doesn’t like me..” He whimpered. ”No, Jackie.. Mommy loves you and Emma loves you too. Daddy loves you also!” His expression lightened a bit. ”Really?” He lifted his chin and i pinched his cheek. ”Really!” His smile made me laugh inside of me. The room was already melting.

“I can’t control it, daddy..” Jackie seemed serious. “Control what?” He looked troublesome before he answered, ”my powers.. See!” He pointed at the walls that were almost melted. This reminded me of Elsa and her fears back then.

“Learn your emotions and trust yourself. Then you are the boss, buddy!” My fist hit gently to his chest while I tried to lift his mood up. His smile was faint. “Trust me!” I laughed, ”You are already melting the ice now.” He nodded and then he started to speak really fast. His joy was almost touchable. “DADDY! I learned a new trick!”

He moved his hands in the air and small whirl of wind and snow danced between his hands. He made a small ice snow man, little rough looking since he was a kid after all. “Watch daddy,” he threw the sculpture of ice into burning fireplace. “WHY did you do that?” I felt surprised when he did that.

He laughed and shut down the flames with snowy wind. My eyes almost drop when I saw the sculpture intact. “Eternal ice,” his voice was full of pride. “How..when.. how?” my words were messing in my mouth. ”I learned a new trick daddy!” His joy made me feel warm inside and I quickly messed his hair up.

POV Elsa

The situation seems calmer now. I peeked inside of the kitchen door and saw Jack having a precious moment with Jackie. Both of them were laughing happily and tears of joy were running on their cheeks. “Mommy!” Jackie noticed me and run to hug me. His hair was all messy after his dad had rubbed his head like he always does. With my fingers I brushed the hair away from his face.

“Sorry Jackie. Mommy loves you.” Jack came and took Emma from my other arm, he was playing with his daughter. I sat on a chair and smiled to Jackie, “Well. What did you want to show me?” Jack had stopped and winked his left eye to Jackie who tried to wink back but his both eyes closed.

“Be ready mommy!” His hands were carefully moving in the air and creating something. Finally the ice crystal formed a small and cute snow man. “Oh, you did Olaf!” I whispered in proudness. Then he threw the figure in the fireplace that Jack had just lit. “No! Why did you do that? Mommy would have wanted it.”

Jackie laughed, ”No mommy.. wait!” Jack waved his staff and the flames went off because of the lack of air. Jack took the air out from fireplace with his wind. Under the ashes was something shiny. There was the figure. “How is that possible?” I glanced at Jack and Jackie.

“He can do eternal ice, dear.” Jack stated proudly. “That is amazing Jackie! Just remember that nothing more than sculptures with that type of ice!” I tried to act like a serious parent here, eternal ice might be hard to thaw if it gets into wrong places. “Yes mom!”

Jackie cleaned the snow man to his sleeve. Then he asked Jack to kneel down, he handed the figure to Emma. “Wait, it might be cold!” Jackie shook his head. ”This ice isn’t warm or cold. It just is!” I went to touch the figure that Emma was holding, truly.. it wasn’t cold or warm. Emma was giggling with excitement while she held the gift that Jackie gave her. “Sorry sis, I love you!” He kissed Emma’s cheek. Mine and Jack’s eyes met and we were both smiling.

Our children were starting to get along.
