Soft silence was exactly what Wynne was indulged in, the world dark around her.
Slowly her blue-ish grey eyes blinked open to scan her dark surroundings. She muttered something under her breath, followed by a soft squeak, her warm hands pressing against the cold hard wood floor beneath her.
Hands.
Hands? Not hand?As if a wave of shock slapped her she quickly scurried around to find an exit, fixing her glasses in the process, but where was she? This was so bizarre... but so were the past few days for her.
She tried to push herself up but only for her head to be bonked against something cold and hard above her.
With only one option left for her she began to slide herself across the floor, using her own two arms to pull herself forward. After not so long, incredibly short actually, she saw a dim soft light.
Quickly she pulled herself to it, moving a sheer fabric from her face that was drawn over her.
I don't know if she was more shocked or happy at what she saw, and maybe she doesn't even know.
Around her was her bedroom, just like she saw it last. She quickly pulled herself out from under what happened to be her own bed, shooting to her feet.
She quickly checked her clock to see how long she was gone. 10:34.
Three minuets from after she fell asleep?
Right after that thought shot through her mind she checked her two arms, and was shocked once she saw her non tattooed arms, just like before.
She went to the nearest mirror, not as excited as before though, everything felt so strange...
In the mirror stood Wynne, her hair back to its normal color and in her pajamas like before, glasses perched on her nose.
Letting out another squeak she touched her cold window glass, eyebrows furrowing.
Why wasn't she so excited? Everything was just like before...
Had nothing ever happened? Was everything just some dream?
But what did that matter to her? She was home, everything was normal....
It was all normal.
