The city was bustling with it's normal noise, the voices of people lapping over each others and the sound of cars starting up and beeping their horns flowing through the air. This was another normal day in city Epsil, everything being so loud yet quiet, crowded streets, and tension that never left anyone. Though things felt so casual and normal to the civilians, Epsil was never a normal place.
Epsil was built up by very greedy and poor people over minds and gasoline leaks, every problem being dug up and tossed to the side before cement filled it's place. They craved a city they could call their own and posses, and that's what they made over the years.
The rulers of this city did mostly as they pleased, all tests and projects being kept secret from their people so that the only way the civilians would know was when the rulers had did or changed something with the public, but then it was far too late.
No uprise or rebellion has formed, because the rulers were too powerful. They weren't like other places where they had their weapons and the civilians had theirs, only the rulers possessed any proper weapon. The rulers of Elipsy would take whatever they wanted from their people as long as they had a faked reason, they were unstoppable.
Things felt normal now in Elipsy, the disappearance of 'Chelsea Brok', a woman in her twenties, already slipping their minds, despite it only being a week ago. That's how things were, big things happened, their was a buzz for a few days, then it all died out and everyone started to forget about it. Chelsea Brok was already drifting from the civilians' mind before she made her big, devastating entrance in the middle of the most busy and popular street.
The woman stood tattered and bruised, breathing heavily as tears steamed down her face. Blood leaked from the side of her head and the exposed places of her olive skin was either bruised or stained with dirt. She was watched, stared at, no one knowing what to do in this situation before she let out an odd and scarring stream of words, each one filled with fear.
"They're coming, they're close!" She screamed loudly, shaking vigorously. She looked around herself, a choked out sob escaping her lips. "P-please, kill me! They're coming!" She wailed, hugging herself tightly as her eyes searched for someone willing. But no one was, they were all too shocked, too confused, too scared.
With a loud wimper she began to fight her way through the croud, anyone trying to stop her being shoved off. She may have looked frail and weak, but she was stronger then she looked.
Two days later Chelsea was found under a bridge, her head was cut open and so was her stomach, her organs leaking out. Upon further research of the surprisingly useful police and other people that truly tried to help this mistake of a city, it was found several teeth were torn out and so was her tongue.
This was no mistake, and Epsil was far too small for ransom and gruesome murderers, the ones who did it was clear, but nothing could happen. Their could be no uprise because everyone knew how that would turn out. Until the government made the mistake of biting off more then they could chew, and maybe even breaking off their own jaws.
