Part 17

Caitlin's POV

"Are you okay?"

"Why would i be okay i just found out that once again i trusted someone i shouldn't have" Barry replies

"I know. I should have figured it out sooner, i am a scientist my job is to observe my surroundings and figure out the answers. I feel like it's my fault" I say

"It's not your fault. And i won't have you thinking it is. We will find him and defeat him...i promise" Barry says pulling me in for a hug

"So what do we do now?"

"We train. I will get faster" Barry explains

"How are we supposed to do that?"

"Right now that doesn't matter" Barry says pulling me in for a quick yet passionate kiss

"I love you...you know that" I tell him

"Cait, i love you to...i wish i would have told you sooner" He whispers to me

"I wish you told me sooner also. But that doesn't matter right now" I pull him in for another but we soon get interrupted by the phone ringing

"Why must we always get interrupted" I ask

He pushes me back on the couch laying on top of me. The kiss was sweet and slow causing him to mumble my name as he plants kisses along my neck

Ring Ring

"Barry answer you phone" I tell him

He finally gives up and answers it

"Joe what's up" He says, i can see he is upset

"Okay we will be there soon" He then hangs up

"What was that all about?"

"There is a female speedster who has been stealing from people and banks"

"I will call Cisco on the way" I say as we both get up, i grab my keys and we both head out the door

At S.T.A.R labs...

"She was seen last night at this club. Everyone thought it was you until she was caught on camera this morning stealing money from the bank" Cisco explains

"How did she get her speed?" Joe asks

"No idea"

"What's her name?" I ask him

"Eliza Harmon or what she likes to call herself..." Joe begins to say

"Trajectory"

"How did you know her name?" Barry asks me

"When i was creating the velocity 9, she helped me. That's where her speed is coming from" I explain to them

"Well i think it's time Barry Allen pays her a visit" Barry says before running out

Mercury labs...

Barry's POV

I walk in to see what must be Eliza sitting at the desk, she is messing around with what could only be the velocity 9.

"Hello...Eliza my name is Barry Allen i work at S.T.A.R labs" I say reaching out to shake her hand

"Hi Barry...You work with Caitlin Snow?" She asks

"Yes"

"Okay well what can i help you with" She asks turning back around in her chair

"I was wondering about velocity 9. Caitlin says she wouldn't have been able to make it without you" I of course making my girlfriend acknowledged

"Yeah well we did work pretty good together...I'm surprised she told you about it. It seemed pretty secretive"

"Okay well do you have any notes or samples i could have to go back and test?" I ask

"I can't give that to you" She says standing up and facing the desk

"Why not?"

"Because" She replied as I see her grab a syringe full of the velocity 9 and stick it into her arm

"So i guess you guys over at S.T.A.R labs figured it out by now. Did she really sent her co-worker? Well no one can stop me...but i need some more i am running out. Maybe i'll go visit your co-worker" She says before running out of the lab

I quickly run after her but it seems the velocity 9 it faster than me. I chase her till she reaches this abandoned building. Before going in i run to S.T.A.R labs to warn the others

At S.T.A.R labs...

"Guys Eliza is coming"

"I am gone for 1 day and you guys get in trouble with another speedster" Harry yells walking in with Jesse following close behind

"She is coming for you Cait. She told me she needs more" I explain quickly running into my suit

"I am not making more. It made Jay very sick, and i can't allow someone else to almost die from that stuff" She says

"Speaking of Jay...He is zoom? And you guys can't call" Harry points out

"Yeah...but Barry get out of here and come back after a few minutes. She can't see that you made it here before her" Cisco tells me

I quickly run out and hide in the parking lot till i see a red blur run into the lab. I do what Cisco says and quickly run in behind her

"Well well well if it isn't the fastest man alive. I was wondering when you were gonna follow me here" She says to me

"Hey Caity...i need some more of that velocity 9. Do you mind helping me?" She asks looking towards Caitlin

I step in front of Caitlin to protect her

"I will not give you anything to harm you. It made someone i know very sick" Caitlin explains

"Maybe i will give you better motivation" She says before running over to Jesse and grabbing her, i see her put a gun to her head

"NO! Dad" Jesse yells in fear

"She has some just please leave her alone" Harry

"Better go get some or she won't be the first to go. And if your speedster friend tries coming for her she is getting shot in the head"

"Don't listen to her" Cisco says

I quickly whisper something in her ear before she runs in to her lab and grabs a sample of the velocity 9 and hands it to me

"Here now let her go" I tell her

I see her allow Jesse to go and she runs back over to Harry. I hand her the vile and she quickly drinks it.

"Snow...How could you do that?" Harry asks

Before she can respond I see Eliza fall to the ground unconscious

"Caitlin what was in that?" Cisco asks her

"Just velocity 9 mixed with a mild sedative" She explains

"What do we do with her?" Jesse asks

"Lock her up till the velocity 9 is out of her system" I say quickly running her into one of the cells

"Okay so now that we got that covered. What are we gonna do about Jay?" Harry asks me

"I don't know"
